z.B. einen Absatz zu drehen."Chuck for machining hollow bodies on lathes or the like.
Machines "There are already running, self-clamping centering chucks for the
Reitstook of a lathe for machining hollow bodies is known and it is hereby
Wiftsohaftlich possible, any hollow bodies (mostly larger workpieces) rationally
to be processed on the outer or lateral surfaces
and the
End face of the hollow body towards the tailstock side. It is known with these
Centering chucks even possible to machine slightly into the hollow body,
e.g. to rotate a paragraph.
However, these known centering chucks have the disadvantage that only
machined the outer surface and the e-ine end face of the workpiece on the lathe
can be, namely the outer surface only up to the part on which the
Workpiece is clamped in the lathe chuck. Should also this part of the lateral surface
and the face on this side is to be machined, the workpiece must be turned on the lathe
be tense. However, this is almost always the case, but it takes a lot of time and effort
Trouble and is also often imprecise.
The task at hand is to avoid these and other disadvantages
Invention, the solution is characterized in that the Sinspanndorn in his
outer area has a cone with a subsequent thread and on the one
The cage is screwed on, which has three expanding pins, which are at right angles in an inclined position
sit on the cone with its set end face and depending on whether it is screwed in or out
of the cage to the outside or to step back and thereby act as tensioning elements.
Fig. 2 einen teilweise Mittellängsschnitt durch den Brfindungsgegenstand Der Einspanndorn
How the innovation can be carried out in detail emerges from
the following description and from the drawings in which
a
Exemplary embodiment is shown in part schematically, namely FIG. 1
a horizontal plan view of the subject matter of the invention seen from the tailstock,
2 shows a partial central longitudinal section through the object of the invention, the clamping mandrel
1 is intended for clamping in the lathe chuck (not shown), it can
but also be designed as a tool cone and then offers more space for machining
of the workpiece. This born 1 wears a on its front (outer) area
Guide mandrel 2 and between these and the Einspanndcrn 1 a cone 3 with a subsequent
Thread 4, preferably a coarse, self> ending high helix thread. These parts
1 - 4 are made from one piece. On the mandrel 1 - 4 is a cage 5 with an internal thread
screwed on with the nut thread 6 so that the cage 5 is in the direction of the arrow
7 can be moved. The interior 8 of the cage 5 has a conical surface 9 which
fits to the cone 3. This means when the cage 5 is completely on the mandrel 1
- 4 is screwed on so that the conical surface 9 is then over the entire surface of the cone 3
hangs up. In your cage 5 three or more expanding pins 10 are arranged with
their outer tips 10 'from the cage 5
stand out and with her
Set face 10 "on the cone 3 or by spring pressure (not shown)
be pushed on. These expanding pins 10 sit on the cone 3 at right angles
and this means that they are arranged inclined forward in the cage 5, as the case may be
how obliquely the cone is inclined. In the position shown, the
Press the expansion pins out but also pull them in 0 If the cage 5 is wider
is screwed onto the mandrel 1, the more the expanding pins 10 step outwards
and reach with their outermost tips 10 'into the cavity of the to be clamped
and the workpiece to be machined (not shown), there is a strong radial support force
achieved. The necessary torque is generated by the high helix thread via the
Transfer cage 5 to the expansion pins 10 and behaves progressively to the clamping pressure.
The use of this chuck offers with the already proven aforementioned
Centering chuck the possibility of machining the surfaces of a hollow body in
to make a clamping seat accessible. Flat surfaces on the front sides can be completely
to be edited. You can even do turning work, such as short fits or centerings
in the hole itself without re-clamping the workpiece.
kommen. The innovation is not limited to the details shown,
Rather, it can also be executed in modified form, provided that only the Lrfindurigs characteristics are expressed
come.
