Das Pult selbst besteht aufser dem Untertheile p noch aus der fest mit demselben verbundenen Säule q, welche an ihrem oberen Ende einen fest mit ihr verbundenen horizontalen Stab r trägt. Drei hakenförmige Metallbänder jj's sind am Stabe r befestigt; davon ist das mittlere, s¹, etwas gröfser. Alle drei Metallbänder sind derart geformt, dafs ein entsprechend aufgelegtes Blatt Papier u. s. w. als Vorlage gehalten wird, und dienen die kleineren zwei, s s, für kleinere, das gröfsere, i¹, für gröfsere Vorlagen.On their upper side, the strips dd ¹ carry a cross piece h with the desk k.
