Bei den Einheitsgeschossen gemäß D. R. P. 199956 ist die Granatladung im vorderen Teil, also vor der Schrapnelladung angeordnet und wird darum beim Schrapnellschuß samt den Kugeln aus der Geschoßhülle ausgestoßen.
