Unter der Nachttischplatte α auf den Oberkanten der Vorder- und Rückwand b und c des Nachtschrankes ist ein Rahmen e befestigt, in welchen die aufeinandergeklappten, gleich langen Platten f, g außer Gebrauch eingeschoben werden. Die beiden Platten /Yg sind durch zwei aus den Teilen d, d¹ bestehende Gelenke verbunden. Die Teile d¹ sind an der oberen Platte g befestigt, während die Teile d an der unteren Platte f verschiebbar angebracht sind, derart, daß die Verlängerung der Gelenkteile d mit dem Schlitz d² auf dem nach außen stärker werdenden, in die Platte f eingelassenen Gleitstück d² gleiten kann.
