Die negativen Elektroden 3, die mit Löchern versehen sein können, so daß sich unter ihnen keine Luftblasen ansammeln können, sind miteinander durch einen Metallstreifen 6 verbunden (angelötet). Die positiven Elektroden sind elektrisch durch den gleichzeitig als Träger sämtlicher Elektroden dienenden Stab \a mit der positiven Polklemme 8 verbunden. Der Metallstreifen '6, der aus dem Gefäß ι hervorragt, ist in geeigneter Weise durch Verlöten o. dgl. mit einem. als Füllrohr für das Elektrolyt dienenden MetallrÖhrchen 13 verbunden, das die negative Klemme 7 trägt. Diese Einfüllröhre wird durch eine mittels der Klemmschraube festgehaltene Haube oder Verschlußkappe 14 verschlossen, in welche man eine mit Paraffin getränkte Filzscheibe 10 einlegen kann, um so eine gute Abdichtung zu erzielen. Der Ableitungsdraht der negativen Polelektroden erhält infolge der Vereinigung mit dem Metallfüllröhrchen, das in dem Deckel 11 und der Vergußmasse 12 einen festen Stützpunkt hat, großen Halt und Festigkeit, wodurch die Gefahr des Verbiegens und infolgedessen eines Bruches oder Kurz-Schlusses infolge Berührung mit der positiven Stromleitung vermieden wird.
