In der Patentschrift 201968 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gelatineflachdruckformen beschrieben worden, bei welchem eine noch nicht entwickelte Eisenlichtpause auf eine Gelatineschicht gelegt wird, welche ein die Gelatine durch Reaktion mit ferricyanwasserstoffsaurem Alkalisalz härtendes Eisenoxydulsalz enthält. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß an Stelle des in der Gelatineschicht vorhandenen Eisensälzes auch Schwermetallsalze, welche für sich keinerlei Einfluß auf die Gelatinelösung ausüben, verwendet werden können. Derartige Sake sind beispielsweise diejenigen des zweiwertigen Kobalts, Nickels, Kupfers und des einwertigen Silbers. Doch sind die Oxydationsstufen nicht von derselben Bedeutung wie bei den Eisensalzen. Das Verfahren ist im übrigen dasselbe wie bei dem Hauptpatent.
