Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftmesser, welcher, an einem laufenden Transmissionsriemen angelegt, die von diesem beförderte Arbeitsleistung angibt. Alle diese Dynamometer sind kompliziert und erfordern zum Teil eigene Installationen, um die Messung der übertragenen Arbeit auszuführen; zum Teil sind sie auch nur bei horizontal laufenden Riemen durchführbar. Bei dem Apparat ist eine Druckrolle 1 vorgesehen, zu welcher Laufrollen 2,2 unter einem bestimmten stumpfen Winkel angeordnet sind. Die Druckrolle 1 steht mittels eines Armes 3 mit einer Büchse 4 in Verbindung, an welcher die die Rollen 2, 2 tragenden Arme 11 sitzen. In der Büchse ist eine Druckfeder 5 vorgesehen, auf welche ein mit einem Druckknopf 7 versehener Kolben 6 oder eine Platte drückt. Die in die Büchse 4 einschiebbare Spindel 8 des Knopfes 7 ist zweckmäßig mit einer Skalenteilung versehen, um das Ablesen des Druckes der Rolle 1 gegen den Treibriemen 9 zu ermöglichen. Zu diesem Zwecke wird die Druckrolle 1 gegen den Treibriemen gepreßt, bis der Treibriemen so weit eingedrückt ist, daß er an den beiden Rollen 2, 2 anliegt.
