Derselbe besteht in neuer Weise aus zwei geschweiften und gezähnten Klemmbacken, deren eine durch ein Exzenter mit Hebel verschiebbar ist und einen Haken trägt, hinter welchem nach dem Festklemmen des Hutstumpens durch den Stoffgreifer die zum Festhalten des gestreckten und geformten Stumpenrandes auf der Kopfform dienende Spiralfeder beim Nichtgebrauch eingelegt wird. In der Zeichnung veranschaulicht Fig. 1 den Querschnitt, Fig. 2 die obere Ansicht des Stoffgreifers mit Halter und Federhaken.
