Zusatz zum Patente 211512 vom 5. Oktober 1906.Addendum to patent 211512 of October 5, 1906.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 28. Juni 1907 ab. Längste Dauer: 4. Oktober 1921.Patented in the German Empire on June 28, 1907. Longest duration: October 4, 1921.
The subject of the present invention is an extension of the method the patent 211512. According to this earlier patent specification, arched fabric inserts for pneumatic tires manufactured in such a way that a flat hose, both of its longitudinal halves Curvature in the same direction due to different levels of tension in the warp threads during weaving obtained, is separated into two equally curved insert strips by longitudinal slitting. It has now been shown that because of the required strong curvature of the deposits Press the spreader used against the side edges of the hose with such strong pressure It must be that the tissue experiences a very considerable amount of friction at the spreader. Consequently the power requirement of the loom is so high that the simultaneous production more than two interlinings on one and the same loom in a normally built loom Looms not at all and, in the case of particularly strongly constructed chairs, only with large ones Effort and correspondingly considerable costs succeed. This evil of increased Power requirement with simultaneous production of more than two deposits on the same Loom can now be avoided by making a wide hose, whose circumference corresponds to the summed width of more than two inserts and whose Warp thread tension changes periodically according to the number of interlinings to be produced. If such a tube is stretched flat by a spreader, it will plant itself force exerted by the spreader spread evenly through the tissue. The edge friction the spreader and therefore the power requirement of the loom remains unchanged, whether or not no matter how many deposits are connected in the hose. After weaving this becomes Hose that has a corrugated sheet-like shape due to the changing warp thread tension seeks to assume slit along the edges of each of the manufactured insert strips.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist das neue Verfahren schematisch veranschaulicht, und zwar istThe new process is illustrated schematically in the accompanying drawing, and although is
Ι a cross section through a tube containing six insert strips on the Place where the strut stretches it flat,
Fig. 2 ein entsprechender Querschnitt bei herausgenommener Spreize,2 shows a corresponding cross section with the spreader removed,
Fig. 3 ein Querschnitt durch einen neun Einlagen enthaltenden Schlauch.3 shows a cross section through a tube containing nine inserts.
Die Kett-In Fig. Ι the insert strips with i lying in the upper fabric are those in the lower fabric lying insert strips designated by 2. Upper and lower fabrics are connected to one another at the edges 3 and 4, against which presses the spreader 5 and thereby the hose into the passage for the shooter required flat shape forces. The warp
Um die Trennung dieser Gewebeeinlagen voneinander zu erleichtern, können, wie dies an der Unter ware veranschaulicht ist, in an sich bekannter Weise zwischen die einzelnen Einlagestreifen Schnittleisten 6 in irgend einer festen, beim Schneiden nicht· aufräufelnden Bindung eingewebt werden.thread tension changes within the strips divided by the lines CD and EF in such a way that the central warp thread of each strip experiences the lowest tension, while the side threads experience the greatest tension. As a result, the hose seeks to assume the shape similar to that of corrugated sheet metal shown in FIG. If the tube is now separated lengthwise by slitting along the edges 3 and 4 as well as the lines CD and EF , then at the same time six fabric inserts are obtained which are arched in the same direction. In order to facilitate the separation of these fabric inserts from one another, as is illustrated in the underwear, cutting strips 6 can be woven in between the individual insert strips in a manner known per se in any firm bond that does not ripple during cutting.
As is readily apparent when looking at FIGS. 1 and 2, the one on the spreader 5 no pressure exerted on edges 3 and 4 by the connected six inlays stronger than if only two insert strips were being produced at the same time.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the principle underlying the invention is illustrated in a known manner in three layers of goods, each layer contains three deposits, so that by slitting along the edges 3 and 4 and lines CD and EF nine in the same direction domed deposits can be obtained at the same time. These nine deposits' are pressed flat by a single spreader 5.
Of course, the new process can also be applied to an even larger number of layers Find deposits use.
