Die Ränder des Doppelwerkstücks werden alsdann von dem beim Pressen oder Schmieden entstehenden Grat befreit, und es findet hiernach ein Vorschleifen insoweit statt, daß die dünnsten Stellen der zusammenhängenden Klingenschneiden bei dem hierauf erfolgenden Härten möglichst wenig Schaden erleiden.
