Bei Anfertigung von Rasiermesserklingen und anderen dünnen Stahlwaren bieten die
Übelstände des Zerspringens und Verziehens der Werkstücke große Schwierigkeiten.
Um diese Übelstände zu umgehen, sollen die Werkstücke nach den Fig. ι bis 5 paarweise
zusammenhängend in der Weise gewalzt, gepreßt oder geschmiedet werden, daß die Schneiden der Klingen zusammenstoßen, während
die Rücken derselben nach außen liegen. Die Ränder des Doppelwerkstücks werden alsdann von dem beim Pressen oder Schmieden
entstehenden Grat befreit, und es findet hiernach ein Vorschleifen insoweit statt, daß
die dünnsten Stellen der zusammenhängenden Klingenschneiden bei dem hierauf erfolgenden
