Dieses Ventil bezweckt eine möglichst vollkommene Beseitigung der Uebelstände, die den bisherigen Admissions ventilen anhaften.The aim of this valve is as complete as possible the elimination of the troubles which the previous admissions valves stick.

Der erste Uebelstand, der sich hier als Druckabnahme gegen den unteren Ventilrand äufsern müfste, ist durch den Stofs des nach unten gerichteten Dampfstrahles compensirt.
