Description

Die Verlängerung des Schirmstocks kann entweder innerhalb des Etuis selbst ganz oder teilweise erfolgen oder aber auf die Endphase der Auszugbewegung beschränkt sein. In letzterem Falle ist ein innerhalb des Etuis verschiebliches Füllstück vorgesehen, welches zur Erzielung der Rast-Haltekraft radial federnd ausweichbare Backen besitzt. Diese hintergreifen verrastend Schrägflächen des Schirmtops oder -griffes. An Stelle solcher Schrägflächen besteht auch die Möglichkeit der Anordnung einer Ringrinne. Das so ausgebildete längsverschiebliche Füllstück wird kurz vor dem Einsteckende des Etuis gestopt, so daß bei Aufwendung einer weiteren axialen Zugkraft durch die erfolgte Anschlagbegrenzung die Verlängerung des Schirmstocks bewirkt wird unter schließlicher Aufhebung der Einrastung. Diese Aufhebung der Einrastung wird noch dadurch begünstigt, daß im Bereich des Etui-Einsteckendes eine den lichten Innenraum des Etuis vergrößernde Ringnut vorgesehen ist, welche den radial gerichteten Ausweichraum für die Haltebacken bildet. Letztere sind dachförmig ausgebildet, derart, daß sie mit ihrem einen Schenkel zur Herbeiführung einer erleichterten Einrastung einen trichterförmigen Einsteckquerschnitt formen. Der andere Schenkel führt zu einem die einzelnen Rastbacken untereinander verbindenden Ring. Die Rastbacken können diesem Ring materialeinheitlich angeformt sein. Der Ring mag im übrigen aus Gründen einer gut erzielbaren Rückstellkraft aus Kunststoff gefertigt sein. Die zweite Möglichkeit der Schirmstockverlängerung, nämlich bereits innerhalb des Etuis, läßt sich dadurch leicht herbeiführen, daß die Haltebacken unmittelbar fest am Etuiboden sitzen.
