Es sind bereits Vorrichtungen zum Entlaugen und Waschen mercerisierter Gewebe bekannt, bei denen die Ware in frei .gespanntem Zustande von Spritzrohren abgespritzt wird. Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet nun eine Vorrichtung dieser Art, welche sich gegenüber den älteren Einrichtungen durch weit vollkommenere Wirkungsweise bei größter baulicher Einfachheit auszeichnet. Das Wesentliche der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Spritzrohre zwischen den einzelnen Windungen der frei im Zickzack durch übereinander angeordnete Quetschwalzenpaare auf- und abwärts geführten Gewebebahn angebracht sind und die sich vorbeibewegende Ware mit Säure, Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten abspritzen. Die Wirksamkeit der neuen Vorrichtung wird durch diese Einrichtung bedeutend verbessert, indem durch die eigene Schwere der Säure bzw. des Wassers beim Herabrieseln an der Ware und durch die beim Abspritzen erfolgende Hin- und Herbewegung der Gewebebahn die in der Ware enthaltenen Chemikalien weit besser mitgerissen und aus der Ware entfernt werden. Indem ferner die Gewebebahn an mehreren Stellen ihres Zickzackweges durch mit Gummibällen gefüllte Behälter hindurchgeführt wird, wird die Ware von den durch die Bewegung der Stoffbahn in Drehung versetzten Gummibällen gerieben und dadurch von Schmutzflecken befreit, derart, daß das bisher übliche Reiben von Hand ganz in Fortfall kommt.There are already devices for leaching and washing mercerized tissues known, in which the goods are sprayed from spray pipes in a free will.
