Die Vorrichtung, welche die Anwendung von auf gewöhnliche Kärtchen aufgewickeltem Garn zuläfst, ist auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt. The device that uses thread wound on ordinary cards is shown on the accompanying drawing.

Fig. i, a, b und c zeigt ein kleines Consölchen A, das mittelst der Oese B auf den Dorn des Nähmaschinenarmes C aufgesteckt wird, wo sonst das Fadenröllchen zu sitzen kommt. Mittelst Stellschraube D wird das Consölchen fest mit C verbunden. Am vorstehenden Arm des Consölchens ist eine lange Büchse F angebracht, die zur Aufnahme des eigentlichen Kärtchenhalters dient. Damit der Kärtchenhalter möglichst wenig Reibung und Widerstand verursacht, ist der Boden von F mit einem Stahlplättchen versehen, in welchem der zugespitzte Spurzapfen des Kärtchenhalters sich dreht.Fig. I, a, b and c shows a small console A, which is attached by means of the eyelet B to the mandrel of the sewing machine arm C , where the thread roller would otherwise come to sit. In Fig. 2, a, b und c ist auf einen Zapfen G ein Cylinder H aufgesetzt, welcher mit einem diametralen, vertical en Schlitz J versehen ist, dessen Begrenzung nach der einen Seite um die halbe Kärtchendicke aufserhalb der Mittellinie fällt, während er nach der anderen Seite so weit gehalten ist, dafs neben dem Kärtchen noch ein Keil K Platz hat, der mittelst einer Stellschraube M das Kärtchen in dem Cylinder festhält.
