Abstract

Suction-rinsing trocar comprises a tubular shaft (3), an optical element (4) on the distal end of the shaft, a rinsing channel with an outlet opening in the region of the optical element, a suction channel with an inlet opening in the region of the optical element, a conveying unit for introducing a rinsing medium, and a suction device for removing the rinsing medium via the suction channel. The outlet opening and the inlet opening are arranged so that a rinsing medium stream is deviated along the optical element and toward the inlet opening. Preferred Features: The inlet opening and the outlet opening are arranged on opposite-lying sides of the optical element or on the same side of the optical element so that the rinsing medium stream is directed in front of the optical element.
