Abstract

An applicator pen for marking fluid, or for any other free flow fluid, has a spring loaded valve (10) between the reservoir (1) and a capillary marking point (6). In the normal position the sprung valve element shuts off the flow of fluid to the marking point. The flow is released as soon as pressure is put on the marking point. If the pressure exceeds a set level, e.g. the pen is stored upside down without a cap, then the valve element is pushed back to seal the flow from the reservoir.

Claims (2)

1. Gerät zum Auftragen von Schreib-, Malflüssigkeit und dergleichen auf eine Fläche mit einem für freie Flüssigkeit (1) vorgesehenen Behälter (2) mit einer Behälteröffnung (3) und einer Ventilanordnung (4), einem Behälteraufsatz (5), der sich von der Seite der Behälteröffnung (3) lösen läßt, einem kapillaren Auftragselement (6), welches der Betätigung der Ventilanordnung (4) dient und einem Kapillarspeicher (7), dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass ohne Ausüben einer Druckkraft auf das Auftragselement (6) der Spalt 1 der Ventilanordnung (4) durch die Vorspannung des Ventileinsatzes (10) mittels des Federelementes (9) geschlossen bleibt, währenddessen Spalt 2 geöffnet ist, dass bei Ausüben einer Druckkraft auf das Auftragselement (6) der Spalt 1 der Ventilanordnung (4) um einen von der Druckkraft abhängigen Weg vergrößert wird, währenddessen Spalt 2 um genau diesen Weg verringert wird
und dass bei höchstmöglicher Druckkraft auf das Auftragselement (6) der Spalt 2 der Ventilanordnung (4) geschlossen ist.1.
