Abstract

The bicycle saddle consists of two halves (4a,4b) connected to the saddle nose (1) by an elastic section (8) and horizontally adjustable by means of an adjusting device (9) which comprises support bolts (2), a threaded rod (3) and an adjusting wheel (6), and is connected to the saddle halves by means of a bearing bracket (5). Horizontal adjustment of the saddle halves is possible while riding. The elastic section consists of rubber or plastic, or may be a joint.
