Abstract

The headstone assembly has a plinth (9) embedded in the ground or mounted on a foundation. It may hold two long L-shaped members (1,4) bolted in place facing each other with their long arms vertical. The top ends of the L-shapes may be connected to inverted short L-shaped members (2,3) by bolts with spacers (6). A rectangular slab (5) may be connected to the L-shaped members by further bolts with spacers. An alternative arrangement may produce a shape of a cross.
