Die Erfindung betrifft eine freistehende Säule zum Anbringen von Schrift- und Zeichenträgerleisten mit einem Tragrahmen, an dem die Leisten aufgeclipst sind.The invention relates to a free-standing column for attaching lettering and character carrier strips with a supporting frame to which the strips are clipped.

Es sind derartige Säulen bekannt, die im wesentlichen aus einem vertikalen Tragrahmen bestehen, auf dem einzelne gewölbte Schildpaneelen aufgesteckt sind. Dazu weisen diese Schildpaneelen an ihrem Rand ein Strangpreßprofil auf, mit dem sie in die Tragkonstruktion einrasten. Zur Sicherung gegen Entnahme sind außen Sperrleisten angebracht, die zu einer Verbreiterung der Säule über die Breite der Schildpaneelen hinaus führen. Zum Entfernen dieser Paneelen dienen Saugwerkzeuge, die außen auf die Paneele aufgesetzt werden, um die Paneele an ihrer Ausformung von der Tragkonstruktion abzuziehen.Such columns are known which essentially consist of a vertical support frame onto which individual curved shield panels are attached. Der wesentliche Nachteil dieser bekannten Ausführungsform besteht darin, daß zum Herstellen der Schildpaneelen als Strangpreßprofil erhebliche Werkzeugkosten anfallen, insbesondere auch wenn derartige Säulen in unterschiedlicher Breite gebraucht werden. Die zusätzliche Verbreiterung über die Beschriftungsbreite hinaus gibt eine unnötige Verbreiterung der Säule und damit auch mangelnde Raumausnutzung am Aufstellungsort. Die Tragkonstruktion bewirkt keine Abstützung der Schildpaneelen, so daß zum Erzielen der notwendigen Steifigkeit die Paneele verstärkt ausgeführt werden muß und damit ein großer Materialaufwand verbunden ist. Die fehlende Abstützung an der Tragkonstruktion ergibt eine erhöhte Gefahr von Beschädigungen durch Vandalismus. Ein Versatz der einzelnen Paneelen führt zu einer Fugenbildung und damit zu einem ungünstigen Erscheinungsbild.The main disadvantage of this known design is that considerable tooling costs are incurred for producing the sign panels as extruded profiles, particularly when such columns are needed in different widths. Die in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellte Ausführungsform für eine freistehende Säule zum Anbringen von Schriftträgerprofilen in Form von Schildpaneelen 6 weist ein mittleres Tragrohr 1 auf, das sich über die gesamte Höhe der Säule erstreckt. Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel besitzt dieses Tragrohr 1 einen quadratischen Querschnitt, wobei auch jeder andere Querschnitt möglich ist. An einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten sind Distanzprofile 2 in unterschiedlichen Höhen an dem Tragrohr 1 angebracht, die beispielsweise ein Z-förmiges Profil besitzen. An dem jeweiligen äußeren Schenkel 23 dieses Profils 2 sind Halteprofile angebracht und zwar bestehend aus einem ersten U-Profil 3, das nach außen hin offen ist und einem darin eingesetzten zweiten U-Profil 4, wobei die äußeren Schenkel 24 des U-Profils 3 eine etwas größere Länge aufweisen als die äußeren Schenkel 25 des U-Profils 4. Dadurch wird eine Stufe 5 gebildet.
