Schalenartiges Behältnis aus Karton, Papier oder dergleichen, wobei das Behältnis (10) aus einem einstückigen Zuschnitt hergestellt ist und eine durch Biegelinien (30a, 30b, 30c, 30d) begrenzte Bodenfläche (12) mit über die Biegelinien (30a, 30b, 30c, 30d) einstückig verbundenen Seitenflächen (14, 16, 18, 20) aufweist, wobei die Schmalseiten der Seitenflächen (14, 16, 18, 20) über Biegekanten (22, 24) jeweils mit einer Eckfläche (26, 28) einstückig verbunden sind und eine in der Winkelhalbierenden zwischen den Biegekanten (22, 24) angeordnete Schneid- und Rilllinie (32) die Eckflächen (26, 28) einstückig miteinander verbindet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Eckflächen (26, 28) jeweils eine Ritz- oder Faltkante (34a, 34b) aufweisen, derart, dass innerhalb der jeweiligen Eckfläche (26, 28) jeweils zwei dreieckige Teilflächen (36a, 38a, 36b, 38b) ausgebildet werden und die durch die Schneid- und Rilllinie (32) verbundenen und aneinandergrenzenden Teilflächen (38a, 38b) bei entsprechender Faltung aneinandergelegt und miteinander verbunden werden.1.
