Description
The invention relates to an enzyme-containing, concentrated, liquid detergent mixture of a proteolytic, amylolytic or lipolytic enzyme or a mixture of such enzymes with a liquid detergent component, which is enhanced by an excellent Stability and homogeneity over a long period of time is excellent.
Advantages of using enzymes in detergents include: B. from US-PS 18 82 279 in Form of an agent containing soap and diastase with improved cleaning power and DD-PS 14 296, 16 501 and 20 291 in the form of combinations of enzymes with various inorganic surface-active substances Agents such as polyphosphates, pyrophosphates, sulfates and the like with improved detergent properties has been described.
From US-PS 34 72 783 a liquid cleaning agent is also known that up to 1 Weight percent of a hydrolytic enzyme, up to 5 weight percent water, the remainder non-ionic liquid There is surfactant, wherein the surfactant is an ethoxylated aliphatic alcohol. Such detergents however, are not stable with regard to the enzyme component and therefore require a carrier component, especially practically anhydrous glycerin.
In addition, solid substances easily settle and form layers. It has been found that these disadvantages can be avoided if the surfactant acting as a detergent component is composed in a certain way and in particular contains certain ethanolamine compounds. Even if up to to 7 percent by weight water, which generally breaks down the enzymes quickly, without stabilizing additives for the enzyme achieves sufficient stability and homogeneity of the mixture, which due to the state of the Technology is surprising.

Such a liquid detergent preparation can, for. B. when used as a pre-soaking agent with water can be applied to the fabric. The fabric treated in this way is then soaked in water. About that In addition, an enzyme-containing liquid detergent mixture can be in aerosol spray cans or in by hand operated spray devices are supplied packaged if they can be applied by spraying want.
The hydrolytic enzymes suitable for use in the liquid detergent mixture according to the invention are generally proteolytic, analytical and lipolytic enzymes which develop their activity at pH values of about 3 to 10. The use of enzymes of all three types is preferred. Proteolytic enzymes, such as pepsin, renin, trypsin, chymotrypsins, elastase, papain, carboxypeptidase, keratinase and aminopeptidases, are known to break down dirt stains consisting of proteins, such as those caused by blood, eggs, artificial baby milk, fatty substances and the like. Amylolytic enzymes such as λ-amylase, ß- amylase, glucoamylase, amylo-1,6 - "- glüoosidase and oligo-1,6 -" - glucosidase develop their specific effect on starch and sugar types, as in the case of gravy and chocolate -, ice cream and pudding stains.
Lipolytische Enzyme, wie Magensaftlipase, PankreasliDase, Pflanzenlipasen und Bakterien- und Fungi-Lipa-Lipolytic enzymes such as gastric juice lipase, pancreatic liDase, plant lipases and bacterial and fungi lipases
They usually develop their optimal activity in the pH range 4 to 7. The preferred polyfunctional, essentially 100% active, liquid detergent mixtures of the invention have relatively lower pH values than the known, usually large Amounts of dry powder detergent preparations containing fairly alkaline polyphosphates. It is It should also be emphasized that it has so far been considered difficult - and at least in certain cases - with regard to the The desired effect and a satisfactory result was also regarded as impracticable, lipolytic To be able to incorporate enzymes into a detergent mixture.
The enzymes, the use of which in the liquid detergent mixtures according to the invention give particularly satisfactory results, are those which develop their activity in the pH range from about 4 to 9 and at a temperature of about 25 to 75 ° C. and which are soluble in or miscible with water are. Specific examples of such and other industrially available enzymes or enzymatic products are given in K ir k- O thmer, Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology, 2nd Edition (1965), Volume 8, pages 182 to 188 (John Wiley and Sons, Inc., New York , NY).
It is also known that technically available Enzymes or enzymatic products are usually not sold in the pure state, but in the form a mixture of pure enzyme with an inert carrier material. Enzyme preparations of technical quality can contain between 2 and 80, in particular 6 to 10 percent by weight of active enzyme, which with a carrier such as calcium sulfate or sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. The expression “active Enzyme «is intended to denote the amount of pure enzyme that is used in the agents according to the invention, regardless of the total weight of a commercial product.
The amount of active enzymes in the detergent mixture of the invention is preferably about 0.1 to 0.2% based on the weight of the finished liquid detergent mixture. The amount of existing Water is generally a function of the amount of enzyme used. The amount of water used is preferably only the minimum amount necessary to dissolve the enzyme and make it effective to be incorporated into the liquid detergent carrier, and in general this is an amount as needed by at least about a 30 weight percent solution or dispersion of the total amount of the technical to produce enzymatic product. The total amount of water in the finished, enzyme-containing, liquid detergent preparation should not be about 7 percent by weight, based on the total preparation exceed.
DieTo the alkylbenzenesulfonic acids and the alkyltoluenesulfonic acids, that are used in the form of their ethanolamine salts belong mainly to those at where the alkyl radical, which can be linear or branched, has predominantly 11 to 15 carbon atoms contains. Particularly useful are dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid and tridecylbenzenesulfonic acid, and so on Mixtures in which one or the other or both predominate, in which the dodecyl and tridecyl resles are essentially normal or straight chain. the
Alkylbenzenesulfonic acids or alkylioluenesulfonic acids belong to it become the state of the art, and they are conventionally obtained by alkylating benzene or toluene with normal or straight-chain chlorinated paraffins, Polypropylenes or olefins, other sources of course also for the introduction of the alkyl radicals can be used, and subsequent sulfonation of the alkylation products produced. The ethanolamine salts of the aforementioned sulfonic acids are then formed in the manner indicated below and incorporated.
The normally liquid, water-soluble, nonionic surfactants contained in the aforementioned liquid detergent mixtures are used, serve primarily as surface-active agents and as well as liquid carrier media. They are known as such.
Im allgemeinen bestehen die besonders empfehlenswerten, normalerweise flüssigen, nichtionischen, organischen, oberflächenaktiven Mittel, die zur Anwendung kommen, aus den Addukten aus 6 bis 10 Mol Äthylenoxyd anThe molar ratio of the ethylene oxide to the alcohols or alkylphenols in the adducts of the detergent component B II can vary within considerably wide limits and is generally at least 4 to 20 or more moles of ethylene oxide per mole of the alcohols or alkylphenols mentioned, in particular 6 to 10 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of the alcohols or alkylphenols mentioned. Up to one To a certain extent propylene oxide can take the place of ethylene oxide, or in certain few cases it can replace the ethylene oxide, or both ethylene oxide and propylene oxide can be used Preparation of the adducts are used, provided, however, that the adduct is normally liquid and is water soluble. In general, the most recommended, usually liquid, nonionic, organic, surface-active agents are the come to use, from the adducts of 6 to 10 moles of ethylene oxide
(i) geradkettige oder verzweigtkettige aliphatische einwertige Alkohole oder(i) straight or branched chain aliphatic monohydric alcohols or
The ethanolamides and / or isopropanolamides which are also used in the detergent mixture as component B III are fatty acid monoethanolamides, diethanolamides and isopropanolamides. They should either be normally liquid or have melting points that do not exceed about 60 ° C. The diethanolamides which are derived from coconut oil fatty acid mixtures or special fractions which, for. B. predominant proportions of Ci 2 - or C | 4 fatty acids, and in which the molar ratio of diethanolamine to the higher molecular weight fatty acid is about 1: 1.
Die Mengenanteile der Ingredienzien, in Gewichtsprozent ausgedrückt, welche die obenerwähnten flüssigen Detergentmischungen bilden und die mit den Enzymen kombiniert werden, um die erfindungsgemäßen, enzymhaltigen, flüssigen Detergentmischungen zu gewinnen, belaufen sich auf vorzugsweise 45 bis 75% der Äthanolaminsalze der Alkylbenzol- oder Alkyltoluolsulfonsäure (Komponente BI), 15 bis 30% der nichtionischen, normalerweise flüssigen, wasserlöslichen, oberflächenaktiven Komponente B II und 12 bis 25% der Fettsäureamide des Monoäthanolamins, Diäthanolamins oder Isopropanolamins (Komponente BIII).The proportions of the ingredients, expressed in percent by weight, containing the above-mentioned liquid Form detergent mixtures and which are combined with the enzymes to the invention, To win enzyme-containing, liquid detergent mixtures, amount to preferably 45 to 75% of the ethanolamine salts of alkylbenzene or alkyltoluenesulfonic acid (component BI), 15 to 30% of the nonionic, normally liquid, water-soluble, surface-active components B II and 12 bis 25% of the fatty acid amides of monoethanolamine, diethanolamine or isopropanolamine (component BIII).
Besonders empfehlenswert sind solche flüssigen Detergentmischungen, in denen die Äthanolaminsalze der Alkylbenzol- oder Alkyltoluolsulfonsäuren 52 bisLiquid detergent mixtures in which the ethanolamine salts are particularly recommended of the alkylbenzene or alkyltoluenesulfonic acids 52 bis
b4%, die oben nichiioni.sc:hen oberflächenaktiven Stolfe 22 bis 30% und die Fettsäuremono- oder -diäthanolamide oder -isopropanolamide 14 bis 18% der Gesamtmischungen ausmachen.b4%, the above nichiioni.sc :hen surface-active stolfe 22 to 30% and the fatty acid mono- or diethanolamides or isopropanolamides make up 14 to 18% of the total mixtures.
In the production of the above-mentioned polyfunctional, essentially 100% active, stable, In liquid detergent mixtures, it is particularly advantageous to initially use an essentially homogeneous solution the non-ionic, normally liquid, water-soluble, surfactant with an ethanolamine to form and then gradually stirring the alkylbenzenesulfonic acid and / or alkyltoluenesulfonic acid add in an amount which is essentially neutralized by said ethanolamine can be, and thereby to form the ethanolamine salt of said sulfonic acid, the mixing temperature is adjusted so that it does not exceed about 50 ° C. Then the ethanolamide and or or isopropanolamide is added with stirring until a clear, homogeneous liquid has been obtained. One A modified procedure consists in firstly using a mixture of the nonionic surface-active Substance and the sulfonic acid to form and then gradually add the ethanolamine while stirring. It can Still other process variants can be used, but the nonionic surfactant must Form medium in which the formation of the ethanolamine salt of the sulfonic acid is brought about in situ. For example, stable mixtures cannot be formed if one tries to use the ethanolamine salt to form the sulfonic acid in situ in the ethanolamide and / or isopropanolamide for itself. Of the Nonionic surfactant must be used during the in situ formation of the ethanolamine salt of sulfonic acid to be present.
Other types of such mixtures can also be used for the preparation of the detergent mixture according to the invention can be used as a combination of two of the aforementioned components in approximately equal amounts of weight, e.g. B. a mixture of about 56% coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide and about 44% an adduct of 6 moles of ethylene oxide and a mixture of Cio to Cu fatty alcohols; or a Mixture of 50% diethanolamine dodecylbenzenesulfonate and 50% of an ethoxylated aliphatic Ce-bis Ci8 alcohol (adduct of 6 to 8 moles of ethylene oxide), said sulfonate in situ by adding the Dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid is formed as a mixture of the ethoxylated alcohol and diethanolamine has been.
The liquid detergent mixtures according to the invention are preferably prepared in such a way that one first dissolves the enzyme or enzyme mixture in water or mixes it with water, about something like that Prepare 10 to 60 percent by weight solution or dispersion. Preferably at least one should be 30 weight percent solution or dispersion can be prepared, but one will of course the solution or It is best to make the dispersion as concentrated as is reasonably possible. These Aqueous enzyme solution or dispersion is then thoroughly mixed with the liquid, essentially 100% strength active, polyfunctional detergent component, as described above, mixed in order to obtain a stable, to form homogeneous mixture. There are no special equipment or working methods is required, and the production can be easily carried out at room temperature.
It is advisable to add water to the preparation of the aqueous enzyme solution or dispersion which has a low degree of hardness, since water, as the enzyme expert knows, degrades itself which causes enzymes, and hard water, d. H. Water containing calcium or magnesium ions, prevents this degradation. Soft water usually contains up to about 85 parts calcium or Magnesium per million parts of water; and very hard water is usually called a water that Has a hardness level of over 510 parts per million parts. Albeit soft water for making it the enzyme solutions or dispersions can be used, so it is advisable to use water with a hardness of about 150 parts per million parts to prevent enzyme degradation in the course of the To prevent the production of the finished, enzyme-containing, liquid detergent mixtures. Are first Enzyme solution or dispersion and liquid detergent have been combined with one another, the enzyme activity remains Maintained essentially unchanged for a long time. In addition to the stated uses, the enzyme-containing, liquid detergent mixture also useful for unwinding for the purpose of removing through Soiling caused by organic substances, especially stains from burnt-in food residues on tables and cookware.
Another advantage of the liquid detergent mixtures according to the invention is that they as Spray jet can be applied, be it by means of an aerosol spray can or a manually operated one Spray device. The essential properties of stability and homogeneity are retained when the mixtures mentioned with a viscosity-lowering diluent and / or a Aerosol propellants are combined. Suitable diluents include the low molecular weight ones aliphatic monohydric and polyhydric alcohols and ether alcohols with 1 to 8 carbon atoms, such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, butanol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, Ethylene glycol monohexyl ether and other low molecular weight mono- and dialkyl ethers of ethylene glycol, as well as ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. By adding a small amount of the diluent a product is obtained which is particularly suitable for use in manually operated spray devices suitable is.

als Treibmittel gebildet worden ist.as well as mixtures of such propellants.
The low molecular weight hydrocarbons, such as propane, isobutane and η-butane, and the low molecular weight aliphatic ethers are useful, but less recommendable. Particularly suitable and preferred is an aerosol system which has been formed by adding ethyl alcohol as a diluent and dichlorodifluoromethane as a propellant.
The quantity ranges for the diluents and propellants mentioned, based on the weight of the total mixture, are generally between about 5 and 15% diluent and about 5 and 15% propellant. The aerosol mixture preferably contains about 9% diluent and about 10% propellant. As has been found, the last-mentioned formulation, when applied in the form of an aerosol spray jet, provides a particularly soft foam which collapses with the formation of a liquid which soaks the tissue well.

It showed excellent stability.
Following the procedure of Example 1, 2: parts of enzyme AP, 7.5 parts of water of one hardness were obtained 150 parts per million parts and 990 parts of the essentially 100% active liquid detergent de: Example 1 mixed with one another until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
Nach der Arbeitsweise des Beispiels 1 wurden 3 Teil» eines lipolytischen Enzyms (Lipase 250), 2,5 Teile Enzyn AP, 10 Teile Wasservoneiner Härte von 150 Teilen pn Million Teile und 984,5 Teile des flüssigen Detergent des Beispiels 1 miteinander vermischt. Nach 3 Wochei war kein Absetzen zu beobachten.Following the procedure of Example 1, 3 parts of a lipolytic enzyme (Lipase 250), 2.5 parts of Enzyn AP, 10 parts of water with a hardness of 150 parts pn Million parts and 984.5 parts of the liquid detergent of Example 1 mixed together. After 3 weeks no settling was observed.
The evaluation of the enzyme-containing pre-soaking or pre-soaking agents prepared according to Examples 1, 2 and 4 was carried out by treating standard cotton fabric test pieces, which were treated with (a) ink, blood, Milk stains, (b) cocoa stains, (c) hemoglobin stains, and (d) grease stains made with olive oil-soot blends had been caused, had been soiled. A test piece of fabric was used for comparison with the liquid, polyfunctional detergent component that does not contain an enzyme had been pre-soaked. This piece of fabric was also washed with the detergent to remove another Compare with fabrics that have been enzyme treated and then washed with the detergent had been.
In all pre-soaking operations, a sample amount of the enzyme-containing liquid was rubbed into the soiled piece of tissue, which was then soaked in water at 50 ° C. for 1 hour, and it was then washed, rinsed and dried for 15 minutes with a commercially available alkylbenzenesulfonate washing powder.
The degree of stain removal was measured using the reflectance factor scale of a Hunter colorimeter. With this scale, the closer the reflection factor, the closer the color approaches a pure white approaches 100.
To understand the table below, it should be noted that identically soiled test fabrics with Test Mixtures A to D were treated in the manner given below. As from the numerical values can be easily removed, the degree of stain removal largely exceeds that which can be obtained achieved by pre-soaking without adding enzymes and then washing with one Detergent can follow.

In the production of the polyfunctional, essentially 100% active, stable, liquid detergent component of the enzyme-containing liquid detergent mixtures of the present invention, it is in Recommended for best results, none during the manufacturing process Intentionally adding water.
