Beim Auftreten von Querkräften neigen diese Verbindungsglieder zum vorzeitigen Versagen in Folge Abscherens. Die Teleskopdämpfer müssen dann aus oftmals räumlieh sehr beengten Verhältnissen ausgebaut, ausgetauscht und anschließend wieder eingebaut werden. Die Vorrichtung zum Vor- und Entspannen von Teleskopdämpfern weist eine muldenförmige Spanneinrichtung (1) auf, die als an den Enden geschlossenes U-Profil (2) ausgebildet ist (Fig. 1).
