Abstract

A leak tight connection for a corrugated duct, e. g. for a solar heating system, has an elastic connecting sleeve fitted to the end of the duct with a ribbed structure to seal onto the corrugations. The connecting sleeve also has external ribbing which seals via a push fit into a tapering connecting stub. The connecting sleeve is secured by at least one rib and groove and is either pushed or screwed onto the corrugated duct. A flange fitted onto the duct limits the distance the connection is pushed into the stub.

Claims (17)
