Kochgeschirr mit einem das Kochgeschirr (1) oberseitig abdeckenden Deckel (2),
- wobei das Kochgeschirr (1) jedenfalls im Bereich seines oberen Randes (13) über eine rotationssymmetrische Innenwandung (16) verfügt und zwei im Wesentlichen gegenüberliegende Griffe (3, 3.1) zur Handhabung des Kochgeschirrs (1) aufweist und wobei die Griffe (3, 3.1) jeweils zumindest einen Auflageabschnitt mit einer nach oben weisenden Auflagefläche (20, 20.1) aufweisen und
- wobei der Deckel (2) im Bereich der Griffe (3, 3.1) jeweils einen über den Rand des Kochgeschirrs (1) auskragenden Deckelfortsatz (12, 12.1) mit einer nach unten weisenden Abstützfläche (19, 19.1) aufweist,
- wobei die Abstützflächen (19, 19.1) zu den Auflageflächen (20, 20.1) bzgl. ihrer Anordnung in Höhenrichtung des Kochgeschirrs (1) dergestalt angeordnet sind, dass wenn die Abstützflächen (19, 19,1) der Deckelfortsätze (12, 12.1) auf den Auflageflächen (20, 20.1) der Griffe (3, 3.1) aufliegen, der Deckel (2) in einer Abgießposition gegenüber einer das Kochgeschirr (1) verschließenden Schließposition angehoben ist, in welcher Abgießposition ein Abgießspalt (17, 21) zwischen Deckel (2) und oberem Rand (13) des Kochgeschirrs (1) zum Abgießen von Kochgut, etwa Kochwasser, gebildet ist,

- die Zarge (9) in das Kochgeschirr (1) auch in der Abgießposition zumindest abschnittsweise hineinragt und
- wobei die Auflagefläche (20, 20.1) und die Abstützfläche (19, 19.1) des Deckelfortsatzes (12, 12.1) eben sind, sodass die genaue Position des Deckelfortsatzes (12, 12.1) gegenüber dem Griff (3, 3.1) in Umfangsrichtung des Kochgeschirres (1), wenn der Deckel (2) in seiner Abgießposition ist, frei wählbar ist.
