PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is based on the object of creating a renovation step which eliminates the disadvantages of today's renovation steps in a simple production process and at the same time makes use of the advantages of stable SPC materials in the field of staircase renovation.

According to the invention, the above object is achieved according to the preamble of claim 1 in conjunction with the characterizing features. Advantageous configurations, variants and developments of the renovation stage according to the invention are specified in the dependent subclaims.

According to the invention, the renovation stage of the type mentioned at the outset is characterized in that it is formed into a renovation stage from the SPC carrier material provided with a decorative surface coating (decorative vinyl) using a targeted heating process. With this renovation stage according to the invention, the SPC material can be used effectively in the area of staircase renovation in a production process that saves time and effort, and its advantages can be used here.

To produce the renovation step according to the invention, a milling or several millings/grooves are introduced exactly parallel and exactly straight into the SPC plastic carrier plate with an applied decorative surface such as vinyl on the back. To stabilize the folded areas, special adhesive is pressed into the corners of the rear sides of the folded areas of the step, which stabilizes the folded areas after hardening, but retains a certain flexibility.
