TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a reusable vehicle seat cover used in garages and other places to protect the seat from stains or accidental damage.

STATE OF THE ART

The use of vehicle seat covers is known from the prior art. The workshop worker puts him on the seat he will sit on, usually the driver's seat, to protect it from grease stains, scratches, etc. This type of cover is usually made of plastic material and is discarded without a second use after the repair is completed.

The applicant is not aware of any other references that can be considered similar to those of the invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a reusable seat cover for vehicles, cars, trucks, etc. according to the claims. Their different embodiments solve the problems of the prior art.

Dual use of each cover is enabled, maximizing its utility and sustainability as used cover goes directly from waste to feedstock. It is very efficient as the operators can use the materials in the vehicle at the end of the repair to collect waste without having to take a bag from storage.

The reusable vehicle seat cover consists of one or two, usually rectangular, films that form a cover that can be used as a garbage bag. In a first embodiment, it is a film that defines the general shape with two pockets, one of which is large enough to form this bin liner and to insert the rest of the cover into it. In a second embodiment, there are two sheets, and one of these sheets has two opposite pockets at its ends, i. H. at a short distance from the shorter edges. These pockets preferably occupy all or most of the width of the cover, although their size (mainly depth) may vary.

The bag opening formed by the films may have a closure tape running in a seam in the bag opening.

EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

In the following, an embodiment of the invention is briefly described as an illustrative and non-limiting example.

In 1 an exemplary embodiment is shown. It consists of two rectangular sheets (1,2) joined on three of their sides to form a bag or sack. A fourth side remains open, at least for most of its length. This fourth side is generally a shorter base of the slide (1,2).

The first film (2) comprises two pockets (3, 4) opposite at their ends. That is, the open sides of the pockets (3,4) are aligned with each other ( 1 ). The pockets (3,4) can be the same size, but preferably the first pocket (3) is larger than the second pocket (4). This second pocket (4) may be open at its bottom (opposite the opening), but this is not preferred. Optionally the second sheet (1) is left blank and can have any type of decoration or advertising as it is the visible side in use.

In use, the operator inserts the seat back (5) into the first pocket (3) and spreads the film (1,2) over the seat. Finally, the free end of the seat (6) is inserted into the second pocket (4) and the cover remains in place to protect the seat throughout the stay in the workshop. If the cover is to be removed, the seat (6) is pulled out of the second pocket (4) and the backrest (5) out of the first pocket (3). Since the slides (1,2) have grease stains or the like can, the bag or bags (3,4) formed from the films (1,2) is turned over so that the dirty side remains inside. This keeps the cover available as a bin liner for the introduction of waste material from the repair or for its use in a bucket.

The foils (1, 2) can have a closure band (7) which runs in a hem in the bag opening.

The material of the cover is usually flexible plastic such as polyethylene or bioplastics.

Reusable vehicle seat cover claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises two sheets (1, 2) forming the bag, a first sheet (2) with the pockets (3, 4) and a second sheet (1) parallel to the first sheet (2). Reusable vehicle seat cover claim 1 , characterized in that the pockets (3, 4) are of different sizes. Reusable vehicle seat cover claim 2 , characterized in that the pockets (3, 4) are in a first film (2) and the second film (1) is decorated. Reusable vehicle seat cover claim 2 , characterized in that the films (1, 2) have a closure strip (7) which runs in a hem in the bag opening.
