Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a molding aid for plastering a substantially square wall opening, such as a window or door opening. In particular, it relates to a reusable and variable form aid.

When installing window and door frames, it is important that a finished plastered wall in the area of the window opening has exactly the prescribed thickness and is perpendicular. Up to now, this has usually been achieved when plastering with the help of shaped boards, which are placed on the reveal and releasably clamped in this, in order to keep the plaster in shape until it has hardened sufficiently. The width of the forming aid, which can be viewed as a stripping gauge, should exactly match the desired wall thickness. When wedged into the wall opening, the form aid must be pressed against the walls to plumb them and create a plumb doorway. In most cases, this is simply achieved with form boards that are temporarily fixed using adjustable stamps.

It is also known to nail form aids for wall openings to the door reveal, but this prevents subsequent alignment. You can also wedge two gauge boards on the two reveals of a door. As a result, however, the door opening is obstructed or at least narrowed in height. It is also possible to adjust the height of the shaping aids in the form of boards by means of suitable elastic and/or inelastic pressure means - e.g. springs.

Due to the materials chosen, plaster adhered to the surface of the form aid and thus led to undesirable defects in the plaster and contamination of the form aid. Furthermore, the known form aid was heavy and had to be awkwardly aligned.

The object of the invention is therefore to create an improved form aid for rectangular wall openings.

The object is achieved according to the invention by a form aid with the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments result from the dependent claims.

In a preferred embodiment of the form aid for wall openings for plastering a wall in the area of a wall opening, in particular a window or door opening, this has two form elements 3 with a longitudinally displaceably guided and easily detachable elastic spring element 4; a pull-out element 1 attached at a right angle to the shaped elements 3, which can be in several parts and has fastening means for releasably fixing the pull-out element parts, is provided, which secures the distance between the shaped elements on the door lintel.

The form aid has form elements which essentially consist of light, reusable material, for example aluminum or reinforced plastic. It is favorable and environmentally friendly if the form elements each have non-stick layers at least on their wall side. This saves cleaning work and thus water.

In one embodiment, the release layers are selected from plastics and release fluids. However, they can also be designed as a layer, for example as a plastic sole. Furthermore, the moldings may have gripping elements by means of which they can be pressed against and pulled away from the reveal of the wall opening.

As a result, mounting options for form aids for wall openings have now been developed. which keep the wall opening free when plastering, but can be easily removed from the hardened plaster and reused.

Resilient springs at the foot of the vertical mold sections allow the vertical mold sections to be releasably secured against displacement along their longitudinal axes, while the length-adjustable mold section connector prevents horizontal movement of the mold sections. The molded part connector, which runs horizontally when installed, is preferably designed as a pull-out part that can be fixed. Adjusting the pull-out ensures the horizontal distance between the molded parts. Preferably, this fixation can be easily released by hand, which means that investments in additional tools become obsolete and working time is saved.

The molded parts preferably have a plaster base to which plaster of all kinds does not adhere - for example made of hydrophobic plastics such as Teflon or silicone. It is also possible to apply the plaster base only temporarily, for example with a layer of wax or a sprayed-on coating.

The pull-out part is also advantageously equipped with a coating that prevents plaster adhesion. This non-stick finish makes it considerably easier to move the form aids within the wall opening, which is gentle on the plaster, and the plaster does not tear off when the form aid is removed.

The vertical alignment of the form aids can be checked by providing water bubbles on the form aid parts. If necessary, a water level can also be provided in the molded part connector.

Since form aids usually have to be carried on new buildings, they should be made of robust material that is easy to clean, such as reinforced plastic or light metal or composite materials that have longitudinal stability.

By means of the detachable spring elements, the molded parts of the molding aid for wall openings are clamped between the lintel and the floor, for example in the case of a door opening. The elastic pressure of the spring element enables easy alignment, but still clamps the form elements sufficiently between the floor and the lintel so that they can withstand the loads of plastering tools. The door opening remains freely accessible and after plaster has been applied, the form aid for wall openings can be removed again by releasing the spring elements and the pull-out part of the pull-out part - preferably using the grip elements attached to the shaped parts.

A form aid according to the invention, as described in the 1 until 3 as shown, has moldings 3, each with an adjustable strut 4 at one end and an adjustable extension part 1 at the other end.

In this embodiment, the extension part 1 consists of two elements with elongated holes which can partially slide on one another and have locking devices in order to releasably fix the extension part 1 in a desired extension length. In the embodiment shown in the drawing, this is achieved by elongated holes in which releasable fastening screws 5 run. Fastening screws that are particularly suitable for this purpose are those that can be loosened and fastened easily, preferably by hand. For example, wing nuts or the like are suitable for this.

In a preferred embodiment, the moldings have gripping elements 6 by means of which they can be pressed against and pulled away from the reveal of the wall opening.

It can also be advantageous to provide water levels 7 on the molded parts 3 in order to be able to check whether the molded parts or the plaster formed by them are aligned vertically.

You can clearly see it 1 how the form aid in a wall opening is braced by the pressure of the spring elements on the shaped parts 3 against the door lintel and the extension elements 1 fixed by means of the fixing screw 5 in the wall opening.

As 1 shows, the compression spring 4 presses the shaped element 3 with the pull-out element 1 attached to it in a manner known per se against the door lintel and braces it in the vertical direction. The pull-out element 1, designed here as a two-piece sheet metal 2 has openings in which locking nuts 5 run. Here it consists of two sheets sliding one on top of the other with elongated holes running in the direction of the extract in one sheet and holes in the other sheet through which the locking screws 5 run. The pull-out element 1, which is made in two parts here, is pulled out to the desired door width and fixed in this position by means of the locking screw 5. The cleaning aid is firmly wedged in the wall opening and prevents the plaster from flowing and deforming while it is still wet until it has hardened.

In order to attach the form aid 3 in the door reveal, it is pressed against the lintel with the spring element 4 pressed in at the top with the respective pull-out element 1 and the spring 4 is tensioned, as a result of which the form element is firmly seated. The procedure is the same with the shaped element on the other side of the door, with the two parts of the pull-out element 1 being able to slide on one another and being fixed against one another by means of the locking screw 5 when the desired position is reached. After plastering, the shaped elements 3 are released by pressing the spring elements 4 together. The locking screw 5 of the pull-out part 1 is loosened, which eliminates the press fit and pulls out the form aid.

In the longitudinal section of 4 is a schematic of the structure of a form element 3 - shown - without built-on spring elements or pull-out elements. A sole 13 made of material that prevents adhesions can be clearly seen here as a non-stick layer, as a result of which no residues of plaster, mortar or gypsum remain on the form aid, which can be used immediately.
