Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a visual protection strip for weaving into a double rod mat fence, in particular made of plastic.

Bar lattice fences made of double bar mats, so-called double bar mat fences, are widespread and are used both privately as garden fences and as fences for commercial properties. In order to prevent a view of the property, the rod mats can be provided with privacy strips for weaving. With these privacy strips, the double rod mat fences can be easily converted to opaque fences. This conversion can be done directly during the assembly of the fence, as well as afterwards.

Double bar mats include several horizontal sections that are usually 20 cm high. A screen strip is woven into each subfield and fastened at the end with clamping rails.

Commercially available privacy protection strips for weaving into bar mat fences are adapted in their dimensions to the sizes of the common double bar mats and are offered in lengths from 200 cm to 253 cm. The storage and handling of these strips often proves to be disadvantageous in practice. Alternatively, privacy strips are also available as rolled goods. These have the advantage that they are compact and therefore easy to store. In practice, however, the necessary cutting to length of the resistant plastic strip after it has been braided into a sub-field turns out to be problematic.

This is where the invention aims to remedy the situation. The object of the invention is to provide a privacy screen strip for weaving into a double-bar mat fence that is easy to store and handle. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the visual protection strip is designed as rolled goods, perforation lines being introduced into the visual protection strip at regular intervals in the transverse direction. This allows for a simple, straight cutting of the privacy strip after it has been braided into a partial field of a double bar field.

In a further development of the invention, the perforation lines are arranged at a distance of 2.50 m to 2.60 m, in particular 2.53 m. As a result, the strip sections delimited by the perforation lines are matched to the usual bar field width of 2.50 m.

In an embodiment of the invention, the perforation lines are formed by, in particular, rectangular punched-out portions. This provides an intermediate space for inserting a cutter knife or scissors.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the punched-out portions are arranged in a rectangular manner and spaced evenly from one another. As a result, a square-wave final contour can be achieved after cutting to length. Such an end contour can be easily placed around a rod before a clamping rail can be slipped on to fix it. With a straight end edge, such application is difficult due to the resistant strip material.

In a further development of the invention, the visual protection strip has a width of 18 to 20 cm, preferably 19 cm. on. In this way, an adjustment to the height of the horizontal sections of a rod mat, which is usually 20 cm, is achieved.

In an embodiment of the invention, the privacy strip is designed as a plastic mesh. This achieves an attractive appearance.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the privacy protection strip is rolled up into a roll and arranged in a dispenser container which has a dispensing slot through which the privacy protection strip can be unwound in any desired length. This simplifies the handling of the privacy strip.

In a further development of the invention, a knife edge or saw edge is attached to the dispensing slot of the dispenser container. This makes it easier to cut the privacy strip to length along a perforation line. The knife or saw edge is preferably made of metal.

In each case at a distance of 2.53 m, perforation lines 4 are introduced, which are formed in the form of rectangular punched-out portions 41 and are delimited by rectangular connecting webs 42 in each case. To cut a strip section to length, the connecting webs 42 are severed in the middle. As a result, a rectangular curved end contour is formed on the strip sections. This final contour can be easily placed around a rod, after which a clamping rail can be slipped on to fix it.

In 4 a privacy screen strip dispenser box 5 is shown for receiving a privacy screen strip roll according to the invention. The dispenser box 5 has a lateral output slot 51 for passing through a privacy strip section. In the exemplary embodiment, the dispenser box 5 is made of cardboard.
