The invention relates to a holder for a fishing rod comprising a ground spike with an angle which is attached to the upper end of the ground spike, a metal rod connected to the upper part of the ground spike and a height-adjustable receptacle attached to the metal rod for a handle end of the Fishing rod.

A large number of different devices for holding a fishing rod are known from the prior art. Many fishing rod holders have Y-, V- or U-shaped rod holder forks that are used to store a fishing rod. Such fishing rods are for example from the DE 20 2011 051 506 U1 or from the DE 2009 006 036 U1 known. A firm anchoring of the fishing rod in a holder is achieved by oppositely arranged hooks when hanging the fishing rod and an inclined position of the fishing rod to the horizontal. The disadvantages of the known holder for fishing rods are manifold and primarily include a lack of stability, brittle or rusting material. It is also disadvantageous that such fishing rods often have complicated structures, are bulky to transport and are costly to manufacture.

The present invention was based on the object of providing a simple, easy-to-use, space-saving holder for a fishing rod that ensures a high level of stability of the fishing rod in a vertical position, even under heavy loads.
