Description
The invention relates to a wall and/or ceiling covering comprising a first composite element, a second composite element and a third composite element.
Such wall and/or ceiling coverings are sufficiently known and described in the prior art. Various designs of wall elements for forming partition walls or wall coverings and ceiling elements for forming ceiling coverings, for example false ceilings or suspended ceilings, are known. When used in the interior of buildings, these commercially available wall and/or ceiling coverings are provided with a decorative surface that must also meet fire protection requirements and are used in the prior art using known mechanical connections such as non-flammable profiles and non-flammable fastening techniques such as dowels and screws connected to the fixed wall and/or ceiling elements.
The disadvantage of these wall and/or ceiling panels is that this connection method is extremely time-consuming and extremely cost-intensive due to the connection elements required for this, which must comply with all fire protection regulations.
The disadvantage of this wall and/or ceiling element is that the manufacturing and material costs are very high.
Another disadvantage of this wall and/or ceiling element is that although the essentially plate-shaped hollow body is made of a non-combustible material, the use of stainless steel makes it less suitable for fire protection purposes, especially when used as intended as a wall and/or ceiling element the stainless steel of the hollow body as a metal is a very good conductor of heat, which is contrary to the goal of fire protection.
This is where the invention comes in, which has set itself the task of demonstrating a wall and/or ceiling paneling that overcomes these disadvantages of the prior art, that can be produced economically and inexpensively, and that can be installed quickly and easily, while still meeting all the requirements of a required Fire protection easily met.
Surprisingly, it turned out that a wall and/or ceiling cladding comprising:
- having a first composite element
- - at least one plate element made of a metallic material,
- - At least one spacer element with
- • an average modulus of elasticity of at least 70,000 MPa measured according to EN1999 1-1,
- • a thermal expansion of about 23.1* 10 -6 K -1 DIN 51045/1:2005,
- • wherein the first composite element has a total thickness of at least 2 mm,
- • wherein the material of the first composite element has a weight of at least about 5 kg/m 2 ,
- a second composite element having at least one solvent-free, inorganic one-component system based on water glass containing sodium or potassium or lithium silicates,
- • a bulk density of around 1,700 kg/m 3 ,
- • wherein the second composite element is arranged on at least one side of the first composite element with an application quantity of about 1 to 10 kg/m 2 , preferably about 1.5 to 5 kg/m 2 ,
- • as well as a fire behavior of A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1: 2018,
- having a third composite element
- • at least one neutrally crosslinking one-component system based on silane-modified polymers with a bulk density of around 1,600 kg/m 3 ,
- • wherein the third composite element is arranged on at least one side of the first composite element with an application quantity of about 10 to 70 g/m 2 , preferably about 20 to 60 g/m 2 ,
- • and a Shore A hardness of about 25 to 90, preferably 35 to 75 according to DIN EN ISO 868:2003-10,
that the wall and/or ceiling cladding has a total thickness of at least 4 mm and a fire behavior of A2-s1, d0 in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1: Edition 2019-05. This makes it possible for the first time to fasten a decorative wall and/or ceiling element indoors quickly and efficiently directly to solid, non-combustible walls. It has also proven to be advantageous that the combination of two adhesive systems designed as composite elements can be used to quickly fix on site and, after all adhesive systems have cured, permanent fixation to solid, non-combustible walls or ceilings without jeopardizing fire protection requirements . A further advantage of a wall and/or ceiling cladding according to the invention is that in particular the installation time is considerably reduced and that no additional, expensive fastening elements or profiles that comply with fire protection standards are required. Another advantage of the wall and/or ceiling cladding according to the invention is that the combination of the mineral fiber material plate designed as a composite element with the adhesive systems designed as further composite elements makes it possible to compensate for any unevenness or defects in walls or ceilings and, in particular, to reduce the total weight of the wall and / or ceiling paneling according to the invention is very low, which drastically reduces both the assembly time and the assembly effort. With the wall and/or ceiling cladding according to the invention, it is therefore possible for the first time to cover escape routes or rooms in buildings with increased fire protection requirements such as public buildings, administration offices, airports, department stores and the like economically and cost-effectively, whereby here for the first time decorative options and variety can also be realized through individual cover layers that do not impair the fire protection properties.
Another advantage of the wall and/or ceiling cladding is that the second composite element has a maximum heat of combustion of 0.25 MJ/kg according to DIN EN ISO 1716:2018-10 with a basis weight of approximately 2 kg/m 2 .
Another advantage of the wall and/or ceiling cladding is that the third composite element has a maximum heat of combustion of 13.5 MJ/kg according to DIN EN ISO 1716:2018-10 with a surface weight of about 0.06 kg/m 2 .
All of this makes it possible, particularly for the wall and/or ceiling cladding according to the invention, that through the clever combination according to the invention of the mineral water material plate designed as a composite element with the adhesive systems also designed as a composite element, a classification with regard to its fire behavior and the calorific value in class A2, with regard to the classification in class s1 in terms of smoke development and in class d0 with regard to the impression behavior.
Thus, the wall and/or ceiling covering according to the invention can have a classification of A2-s1, d0 according to DIN EN 13.5.2001-1:2019-05.
The wall and/or ceiling cladding is further designed in such a way that the plate element of the first composite element consists of aluminum, iron, steel, stainless steel, copper, and alloys of at least two of the components mentioned. This advantageously means that the wall and/or ceiling cladding in its entirety can not only be produced economically and cost-effectively, but is also very easy to assemble, since the total weight for floor-to-ceiling panels, for example, is comparatively low.
A further advantage of the wall and/or ceiling cladding is that the spacer element of the first composite element consists of inorganic, mineral fillers and polymeric binders with a bulk density of around 1,600 to 1,800 kg/m 3 . In addition to advantageous fire protection material properties, which can be changed by the mixing ratios of the fillers and the binders, the wall and/or ceiling cladding can also be produced economically and inexpensively.
It has also been found to be advantageous for the wall and/or ceiling cladding that the second composite element is arranged over the entire surface on at least one side of the first composite element. This enables a quick and optimal combination of the two composite elements realizable, so that the wall and / or ceiling covering according to the invention can also be quickly and efficiently attached or fixed on site in the interior of buildings.
In a further, likewise advantageous embodiment of the wall and/or ceiling cladding, the second composite element is arranged horizontally in adhesive beads arranged next to one another on at least one side of the first composite element. This allows an optimal arrangement of the second composite element on the first composite element and, when the wall and/or ceiling cladding is used as intended on solid, non-combustible walls, means that a possible exposure to flames or fires does not result in any impairments or smoke development.
It is a further advantage of the wall and/or ceiling paneling that the second composite element is arranged horizontally in beads of adhesive which are spaced apart from one another by at least one distance on at least one side of the first composite element. Advantageously, this leads to a cost-effective wall and/or ceiling cladding which, when used as intended on solid, non-combustible walls, compensates for any unevenness in walls or ceilings and nevertheless the wall and/or ceiling cladding is precisely fixed in terms of fire protection.
An advantage of the wall and/or ceiling cladding is that the third composite element is arranged horizontally in at least one bead of adhesive at least at a distance between spaced adhesive beads of the second composite element on at least one side of the first composite element.
Another advantage that has been found for wall and/or ceiling cladding is that the third composite element is arranged horizontally in at least one bead of adhesive, surrounded by the second composite element, on at least one side of the first composite element.
It is also advantageous for the wall and/or ceiling cladding that the third composite element is arranged horizontally in at least one bead of adhesive, spaced apart from the second composite element, on at least one side of the first composite element.
This advantageous embodiment of the wall and / or ceiling paneling allows for extremely quick installation on solid, non-combustible walls, since in particular the trained as a third composite element, neutrally damaging one-component system based on silane-modified polymers, a pre-fixation of the wall and / or Ceiling cladding on the non-combustible walls or ceilings realized and that as a second composite element trained, solvent-free, inorganic one-component system based on water glass containing sodium or potassium or lithium silicates leads to a fire protection safe final fixation.
The wall and/or ceiling cladding is advantageously further designed such that the first composite element has at least one cover layer with a thickness of about 10 to 100 μm, preferably 20 to 50 μm, on its side opposite the second composite element. As a result, wall and/or ceiling coverings can be made available which have a fire protection classification of A2-s1, d0 and which can be decoratively and cost-effectively adapted to the corresponding requirements for the interior areas of buildings.
It has also proven to be advantageous for the wall and/or ceiling paneling that a first cover layer of the first composite element is designed as a decorative layer.
However, it is also within the scope of the invention for the wall and/or ceiling paneling to have the first cover layer of the first composite element designed as a decorative layer and a further, second cover layer, which is designed as a protective lacquer, for example.
It is also advantageous in the case of the wall and/or ceiling cladding that the second composite element is arranged at a distance from the first composite element via at least one intermediate layer. This advantageous embodiment of the wall and/or ceiling cladding can, for example, have an intermediate layer designed as an adhesion promoter, which achieves an even better bond between the first composite element and the second composite element.
The invention will now be described in more detail using these non-limiting exemplary embodiments.
