State of the art

Horse bandages are well known from the prior art. For example, it is applied to the DE 89 14 586 U1 referenced. Such a horse bandage has a wrapping section for wrapping around a horse's leg and a fastening tape at the end of the wrapping section. The horse bandage has a Velcro fastener on the outside of the wrap, which is spaced up to approx. 50 cm from an inner end of the winding section facing the fastener tape, and a counterpart Velcro fastener on the inside of the wrap, which is arranged at the inner end of the winding section. Horses are given leg bandages of this kind, with recreational, sport and jumping horses for their protection and therapeutic purposes. Description of the invention

The inventor has therefore set herself the task of providing a bandage, and in particular a horse bandage, which prevents unintentional loosening or loosening of the horse bandage from the horse's foot even when the Velcro connection is dirty.

The inventor has recognized that the combination or addition of the Velcro connection on a horse bandage with or around a push button enables horse bandages with a more reliable closure.

A push button is a means of closure consisting of two small, usually round parts, one of which is provided with a recess and the other with a matching head. They are sewn or riveted onto opposite sides of a fabric and pressed together to close. So that the head snaps in and the button only opens when there is considerable tensile force, the recess is shaped accordingly as an open cavity or ring, then the material elasticity of the button enables it to snap in, or an additional laterally resilient element is built in. Snap fasteners are mostly made of metal, less often of plastic.

This object is achieved by a bandage and in particular a horse bandage according to claim 1.

A variant of the invention provides that the push buttons are incorporated into recesses in the Velcro fastener and the counterpart Velcro fastener. Small circular cutouts can be present in the Velcro fastener regions. The push button is thus integrated somewhat within the Velcro fastener, so that the climbing fastener makes better contact when the push button is closed.

Alternatively, the snap fasteners can be attached to the Velcro fastener and the counterpart Velcro fastener. The snaps can be sewn or riveted on.

The snap fasteners are constructed in two parts, one part having a recess and the other part having a head that fits into the recess.

In a special version, the push buttons can have magnetic elements. For example, the magnetic field south poles of the magnetic elements are arranged on one half of the push button on the surface, and the north poles of the magnetic field on the other half of the push button.
