Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Materialrolle, wie sie beispielsweise bei Geschenkpapierrollen bekannt ist.The invention relates to a roll of material as it is known, for example, from wrapping paper rolls.

Materialrollen der bekannten Art werden aus einer bevorzugt endlosen Materialbahn oder einem Materialbogen hergestellt, der um eine Rollenachse herum aufgewickelt wird. Unter Nachhaltigkeitsgesichtspunkten ist diese Möglichkeit allerdings abzulehnen. Des Weiteren besteht die Möglichkeit, das freie Ende an der Rolle beispielsweise über ein Klebeetikett zu fixieren. Gerade wenn das Material auf der Rolle zum Beispiel als Geschenkpapier eingesetzt werden soll, führt das Applizieren eines Klebeetiketts dazu, dass das Material der Rolle im Bereich des freien Endes unbrauchbar wird, da sich das Klebeetikett nicht rückstandsfrei von der Materialbahn ablösen lässt. Die andere Möglichkeit besteht darin, die Rolle mit einem externen Fixierelement zu fixieren, dabei kann es sich beispielsweise um eine Hülse aus Papier oder Pappe handeln, die auf die aufgewickelte Rolle aufgeschoben wird. Die erfindungsgemäße Materialrolle umfasst wenigstens einen zu einer Rolle um eine Rollenachse aufgewickelten Materialbogen oder wenigstens einer zu einer Rolle aufgewickelten Materialbahn. Für die Fixierung der Materialrolle sorgt also der mit eingewickelte Materialstreifen. Dieser wird mit seinem aus der Rolle herausstehenden Endabschnitt dann um die Außenseite der Rolle herumgeschlagen und kann dann an sich selbst fixiert werden. Separates Verpackungsmaterial, beispielsweise das Eingeschweißen mit einer Folie, ist genauso wenig erforderlich, wie das Vorsehen separater Befestigungselemente wie Hülsen oder dergleichen. d. der Überstand des wenigstens einen Materialstreifens wird um die Materialrolle herumgelegt, bevorzugt so, dass er die Materialrolle an der Außenseite vollständig umgibt und, insbesondere an sich selbst mit einem Fixierelement, fixiert.
