Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a two-part fitting for fixing a sliding door of a piece of furniture, for example a cupboard, a chest of drawers or the like.

In the case of furniture with, in particular, more than two sliding doors that can be moved in several vertical planes, there is regularly the problem of positioning the middle sliding doors exactly in a closed position of the furniture.

What is required is a smooth-running solution that requires only little effort to fix the sliding door in the desired position or to reverse this fixation, thus moving the door again. Such a solution should also be quiet and inexpensive to create.

This technical problem is solved by a two-part fitting for fixing a sliding door of a piece of furniture, in which, according to claim 1, it is based on the fact that a first component has a leaf spring-like clip that is attached to the end of the piece of furniture and forms an arch that a The second component fixed to the sliding door has a roller and that, when the roller runs onto the clasp, it locks the roller deflected or vice versa, that the clasp is fixed to the sliding door and the second component is fixed to the furniture.

This interplay of role and clasp requires a certain elasticity of the clasp and also of the second component. When the roller runs onto the clasp, the sliding door itself should not change its height noticeably. Naturally, this also has an influence on the height of the arch above the level of its definition, which should be only a few millimeters.

As opposed to a metal design of the clasp, it is preferred that the first component is in particular made entirely from a plastic. The same applies to the second component, with the exception of the roller and the axle. The elasticity of the two components can initially be determined by the choice of material and further increased by weakening the material.

In addition to the distance from one another, the first and second component must also be positioned as precisely as possible to one another with regard to their height, in order to ensure that the roll runs onto the clasp. The run-up is made easier if the clasp has bevels at the end for the run-up of the roll, which in particular enable a shock-free run-up without a sudden displacement of the roll.

For simple assembly of the first component, it expediently has lateral assembly areas provided with openings for screwing at the end of the clasp.

In a further embodiment of the two-part fitting according to the invention, it is preferred that the first component is mounted on an upper ceiling of the piece of furniture. This means that the first component is freely accessible on both sides. Inner walls of the furniture thus do not interfere with the displaceability of the sliding door provided with the second component.

This applies in particular when the second component is intended to be fixed on an upper end face of the sliding door. The second component then expediently has stops for this purpose, with which an exact positioning of the second component in front of the first component is ensured.

For this purpose, the second component requires a section that protrudes from the inside of the sliding door and carries the roller. Such a section, with a corresponding material thickness and material selection, then also experiences a certain deflection when the roller runs onto the clasp.

Furthermore, the length of the protruding section can be sufficiently dimensioned to overlap a second sliding door which, in a front view, is arranged displaceably behind the first sliding door in a second plane.

Protection is also desired for a piece of furniture with a two-part fitting for a sliding door, as explained above.
