Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein einlagiges Einweg-Augenschutzpad, welches das Auge des Patienten zuverlässig schließt und vor hochenergetischer Lichteinwirkung abschirmt und somit den Schutz des Patienten vor Verletzungen des Auges bei IPL-Behandlungen gewährleistet. Es ist auch nicht, wie in DE 1 980 4665 B4 eine über einen längeren Einsatz hin zu gewährleistende Lösung für die Atmungsaktivität, restriktive Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit notwendig. Durch den geringeren Produktionsaufwand und weniger unterschiedlicher zusammengefügter Materialien können der Aufwand der Produktion, der Lieferkette und die daraus resultierende Umweltbelastung gesenkt werden. Für dieses Problem musste für die einlagigen Einweg-Augenschutzpads eine Lösung gefunden werden. Bei einer Dehnung des Gewebes ist eine absolute Lichtdichte nicht mehr zu garantieren. Dieses Problem wird durch die Auswahl der Materialien gelöst, indem eine Verformung, bei normalen und vorgeschriebenen Gebrauch, von vorneherein ausgeschlossen wird.
Die Steifigkeit im zweidimensionalen Raum wird durch die Fasern gegeben, diese müssen ein extrem hohes Zugmodul besitzen, da diese Festigkeit nicht durch den Polymerschaum gegeben werden kann.
