The handle release aid was developed to counteract such extremes.

The handle release aid can be used in extreme situations to enable a conflict-free and animal welfare-friendly separation of the dog from the object in which the dog has bitten. It is possible to release the dog's grip quickly, effectively and without stress and hectic pace. Extremely stressful constraints can be largely avoided by using the handle release aid.
With the handle release aid, it is possible to act on the dog so that the dog releases its handle and opens its catch. As soon as he has let go of the object, the dog can and must be pulled away from the object by the handler or a third party and brought under control.
