Das Verpacken von Geschenken findet heutzutage in nahezu jedem Haushalt statt. Bisher hat man hierfür eine Geschenkpapierrolle, eine Schere und Kleber bzw. Klebeband gebraucht. Auf die Art und Weise Geschenke zu verpacken bringt einen großen Zeitaufwand mit sich und man braucht dafür einen Arbeitsplatz, wo man seine Materialien und Hilfsmittel ausbreiten kann. Gerade zur Weihnachtszeit und anderen nationalen Feiertagen, an denen man viele Geschenke für verschiedene Personen verpacken muss, ist es mit erheblicher Mühe verbunden. Außerdem erfordert das Geschenke Verpacken im herkömmlichen Sinne einen gewissen Grad an Geschicklichkeit. Man muss das Papier gerade und in der richtigen Größe zurecht schneiden. Dann muss man eine ausreichende Anzahl an griffbereiten Klebebandstreifen vorbereiten. Das Papier muss auch sauber gefaltet werden und man muss das Ganze irgendwie festhalten, bis man das Klebeband auf das Papier angebracht hat, ohne das irgendetwas verrutscht. Ein riesiges Problemfeld bei dem Thema Geschenkeverpackung ist die enorme Menge an Müll, die zum einen aus Papier und zum anderen aus Plastikbestandteilen, wie z.B. die Verpackung des Geschenkpapiers und Klebeband, besteht.The packaging of gifts takes place in almost every household nowadays. Auf der Innenseite von unserem Geschenkpapier ist ein Klebstoffmuster aufgetragen, das mit exakt darauf anliegenden abziehbaren und abreißbaren Folien bedeckt ist. Das gesamte Papier ist im gleichen Muster mit gestrichelten Linien versehen, die an sich kleine Löcher darstellen, was ein unkompliziertes, sauberes Abreißen sowohl quer- als auch hochkant ermöglicht, was zu einer viel sparsameren Verwendung von Geschenkpapier beiträgt und somit dem Müllproblem entgegenwirkt. Die gestrichelte Löcherpunktierung des Papiers erfolgt auf dem Klebemuster und durch die Abdeckfolie durch. Somit ist jede abgerissene Kante des Geschenkpapiers mit einem Klebestreifen versehen, was ein beliebiges einpacken ermöglicht. Das Muster der Klebstoffauftragung kann beispielsweise kariert, dreiecksförmig, rautenförmig oder rechteckig sein. Dabei können die Abstände der einzelnen Musterlinien zwischen 2 bis 15 cm liegen. Es ist also ein Abreiß- und Klebemuster vorhanden, das eine sinnvolle und vielfältige Geschenkeverpackung ermöglicht. Die Abdeckfolie für den Klebstoff ist dünn und somit überall abreißbar. Durch die gestrichelten Löcher des Papiers entlang des Klebemusters (und somit der Abdeckfolie) ist es möglich, die Abdeckfolie an jeder gestrichelten Stelle (mit bspw. einem Fingernagel) vom Klebstoff abzuheben und die abgelöste Folie an einer beliebigen Stelle abzureißen, was sehr viele Möglichkeiten zum Gestalten des Verpackens bietet. Dann reißt man das benötigte Stück Papier an den gestrichelt gelöcherten Abrissstellen entlang ( ). Jetzt macht man sich eine genaue Vorstellung wie genau das Geschenk verpackt werden soll und kann mit dem einknicken der Seiten oder Ecken beginnen. Auch da bieten die gestrichelten Linien eine Hilfe, weil man anhand dieser das Geschenkpapier gerade und akkurat an den richtigen Stellen knicken kann. Gerade das karierte oder Dreiecksmuster ermöglichen das saubere einknicken von Ecken und können auch Parallelität gewährleisten. Nun, da man die Knickstellen hat, sieht man genau, wo Klebestoff benötigt wird. An der betreffenden Stelle kann man die Abdeckfolie vom Klebestoff ablösen ( (3)), indem man diese entlang der gestrichelten Linie mit einem Fingernagel anhebt, so lange zieht, bis die gewünschte Länge des Klebestoffes frei liegt und dann mit einem Finger auf die noch anhaftende Abdeckfolie drückt und den bereits abgelösten Teil der Abdeckfolie einfach abreißt. Jetzt kann man das Geschenkpapier an der benötigten Stelle befestigen. In diesem Fall bedarf es weder Klebeband noch andere zusätzliche Gegenstände, die das Festmachen ermöglichen. Der andere große Vorteil ist es auch, dass das eingepackte Geschenk von außen keine optisch weniger ansprechenden Klebebandstreifen hat und die Verpackung viel professioneller und schöner aussieht, gerade wenn das Geschenk von einem Menschen verpackt wird, der nicht viel Erfahrung darin hat. Das aufgetragene Muster des Geschenkpapiers ermöglicht das Einpacken nicht nur von praktischen rechteckigen Gegenständen wie z.B. ein Schuhkarton, sondern auch von Gegenständen mit ganz ausgefallenen Formen wie bspw. einer Pfanne. Da man entlang des Musters das Papier in einer Vielzahl von Formen abreißen kann und jede dieser abgerißenen Kanten mit Klebestoff versehen ist, eröffnet es diverse Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten. Ein Bonus: man kann unser Geschenkpapier so produzieren, dass es samt Kleber und Abdeckfollie vollständig kompostierbar ist, im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Geschenkverpackungsmitteln, die aus vielen Plastikbestandteilen bestehen, wie bspw. Since you can tear off the paper in a variety of shapes along the pattern and each of these torn edges is provided with adhesive, it opens up various design options. A bonus: you can produce our gift wrap in such a way that it can be fully composted, including the glue and cover foil, in contrast to conventional gift packaging that consists of many plastic components, such as adhesive tape.
