Description

The invention relates to a cover for a hot water bottle, comprising at least: a reference body with an opening for inserting the hot water bottle, and at least one waist for rejuvenating the opening of the reference body, so that slipping out of the hot water bottle is prevented from the reference body.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a hot water bottle with a coating.

Coatings for hot water bottles are already known. They serve to prevent burns by placing the hot water bottle on the body. The covers are usually made of a comfortable and soft material, so that a cover over the hot water bottle adds to the well-being and comfort of the user, since the plastic material of the hot water bottle is not perceived as pleasant in direct contact with the body.

Furthermore, so-called muffs are known as garments which have a substantially tubular body in which the hands of a wearer can be inserted from both sides to warm them.

It is an object of the invention to provide an improved cover for a hot water bottle.

This object is solved by the features of the independent claims. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the subordinate claims.

The inventor has recognized that on the cover of a hot water bottle side insertion pockets can be formed, in which the user can stick his hands and warm. The pockets for warming the hands increase the comfort and well-being of the user in addition.

Accordingly, the inventor proposes to improve a coating for a hot water bottle, comprising at least: a reference body with an opening for inserting the hot water bottle, and at least one waist for narrowing the opening of the reference body, so that slipping out of the heat bottle from the reference body is prevented in that the reference body has at least one lateral insertion pocket. The hot water bottle cover thus combines the advantages of a conventional hot water bottle cover with the properties of a muff. For example, the user can simply put the hot water bottle in the cover on the abdomen and receives an additional warm feeling, while the hands can still warm in the side pockets.

Correspondingly, two insertion pockets are formed on the reference body. The two insertion pockets are advantageously formed on two opposite sides of the reference body.

In order to impart an additional feeling of warmth, the insertion pockets in one embodiment of the invention have a lining from the inside. The feeding additionally warms and insulates the hands in the hand pockets and ensures a pleasant feeling.

An advantageous embodiment of the coating provides that the at least one waist is formed in the region of the neck of the hot water bottle. The hot water bottle can simply be pushed through the opening in the cover and by means of the narrowing of the opening waist, slipping out of the hot water bottle is prevented. The at least one waist is preferably elastic or at least adjustable. Correspondingly, the at least one waist preferably has a lacing or elastic waistband.

The reference body is preferably formed of a soft material, such as cotton, flannel, terry, fleece, plush, wool or the like. It should be noted that this list is not exhaustive. Other materials are possible without departing from the scope of the invention.

Furthermore, the reference body can be designed colored and / or patterned, especially to give children an additional incentive to use.

The invention also relates to a hot water bottle with a coating formed according to the invention as described above.
