Die Vorrichtung ist am unteren Ende mit einem Steg ausgebildet dessen Ende mit einem Loch versehen ist, Damit ist die Vorrichtung problemlos und einfach an Anhängern, Fahrradträgern oder im bzw. am Fahrzeug montierbar.

Gemäß DE-GM 92 01 445 soll diese Vorrichtung an der Anhängerkupplung des Kfz montiert werden. Dies bietet hinsichtlich einer möglichen Verunreinigung der Kleidung keinen Schutz. Zudem ist eine Montage bei abnehmbaren oder versenkbaren Anhängerkupplungen nur schwer bzw. gar nicht möglich. Ebenso besteht die Erfindung aus mehreren Komponenten ähnlich wie die Erfindung EP 0 937 593 A1 .
Aus ökonomischen Gründen ist das nicht sinnvoll und macht das Produkt für den Endkunden teuer. Des weiteren ist bei beiden vorliegenden Patenten die Frage zu klären, in welcher Weise die Anbauteile vor Korrosion und UV-Belastung geschützt sind, da sonst daraus eine Gefährdung für den Straßenverkehr entstehen kann, wenn sich Teile durch Rost oder durch Rissbildung lösen.
Das Patent EP 0 937 593 A1 weise zudem den Nachteil auf, dass für jeden Anhänger (bzw.
