Description

Thanks to the technological development of snow sports equipment in recent years and the new ease with which they can be controlled, 2-year-olds are already able to learn to ski and make rapid progress. More and more smaller children are skiing or snowboarding on the slopes.

But the lifts are not designed to allow the little ones to leave the beginner area. The jump from the conveyor belt to the first drag lift is unmanageable for most 2-year-olds. For example, the tension spring may be too strong so that the lightweight riders lose ground contact. Or the track can be tilted sideways so that the children slip off and in the worst case even get caught on the lift pier or in the deep snow, without being able to free themselves from the lift. Often, only the approach is too abrupt and brings the little ones for immediate fall, or the distance to the confidant on the next plate is just too big. Such experiences are not only very frustrating, but can cause serious injury.

To avoid this, many parents push their little children between their legs on the ski lift in front of them. This results in an uncomfortable posture for both parties. In addition, children do not learn in this way the necessary balance regulation in order to be able to use the lift independently as the next step.

It is proposed a hand held Tellerlift, which consists of a pull handle ( 1 ), a tension element ( 2 ) and a pushing element ( 3 ) consists. The ski instructor can get in at the ski lift, pull the child behind him and cushion the too fast approach, give supportive steering impulses when driving around obstacles, and react immediately in case of a fall. The child holds the tension element ( 2 ) between the legs and can be separated from the push element ( 3 ).

The biomechanically favorable power transmission at the center of gravity allows the application of the proposed device even in the lowlands or downhill to find in the ready to move home position on the skis, or to get the feel for the cornering and to learn the first curves.
