Description
Bei Patienten mit schweren Erkrankungen des Mittelohres kann häufig kein Hörgerät über Luftleitung angepasst werden. Bei ihnen kann alternativ der Schall als Knochenschall direkt zum Innenohr unter Umgehung des Schallleitungsapparates des äußeren Ohres und des Mittelohres erfolgen. Die Ankopplung des Festkörperschalls an den Knochen kann mit Hilfe von Vibratoren, die durch äußeren Druck oder magnetisch an die Kopfhaut gepresst werden oder über offene Implantate erfolgen. Beide Methoden haben unterschiedliche Vor- und Nachteile. Individuell ist festzulegen, welche Anpassung im Einzelfall optimal ist. Aus verschiedenen medizinischen Gründen kann es auch einmal sinnvoll sein, im Laufe der Zeit von einer Lösung zur anderen zu wechseln.In patients with severe diseases of the middle ear, often no hearing aid can be adapted via air line.
