Diese dient als Wisch- und Reinigungsfläche, insbesondere bei geeigneter Spezialimprägnierung der Vliesschicht (2) zum Reinigen von Hochglanz- und Kunststoffflächen. Der Reinigungsschwamm (1) weist dabei einen sich nach unten anschließenden breiten Schwammabschnitt (4) aus Polyurethanschaumstoffmaterial auf und eine sich an dessen Unterseite anschließende Vliesschicht (3), welche an deren Außenseite unregelmäßige Oberflächenstrukturen aufweist, die durch Hitze von Flammdüsen eines Gasbrenners als Flammkaschierung in das Polyestermaterial dieser Vliesschicht eingebrannt sind (siehe Schichtabschnitt 6 in 1 und 2). Diese flammkaschierte Außenseite der unteren Vliesschicht (3) kann insofern als Scheuervlies zur Beseitigung grober Verunreinigungen dienen. Die vorhandene Scheuerstärke kann dabei durch übliche Einfärbung der Schwämme in drei Farbarten als „weiß”, für schonend reinigend, als „grün” für Töpfe und Edelstahlflächen und als „schwarz” für stark scheuernd und grobe Reinigung angedeutet werden. Die Verbindung des offenporigen breiten Schwammabschnittes (4) aus Polyurethan mit den Vliesschichten (2) und (3) erfolgt vorzugsweise mit einem thermoplastischen Klebefilm aus Polyoethan bei 280°C.
