Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flächenheizung mit mehreren Rohren, die parallel in Abstand zueinander auf einem wärmeleitenden Bahnmaterial gehalten sind. Die Befestigung des Bleches an der Unterlage kann beispielsweise mit Nägeln, Schrauben oder dergleichen erfolgen. Zugleich ermöglicht das Blech aufgrund seines geringen Wärmewiderstands eine schnellere und gleichmäßigere Verteilung der Wärme in der Fläche. Da das Blech zum Gebäudeinneren hin eine geschlossene Fläche bildet, wird auch die Wärmeabstrahlung verbessert, insbesondere dann, wenn das Blech mit einem Anstrich oder einer Beschichtung mit hohen Emissionskoeffizienten versehen wird.
