Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a floor covering of plate elements, wherein the adjacent plate elements are connected to each other with a tongue and groove connection.

Outdoor flooring has the problem that it is subject to weathering. For example, the shows DE 10 2005 029 933 A1 such a profile.

Therefore, metal plate elements, in particular of aluminum profile, are used with advantage. However, these must be secured against leakage of surface water against underlying areas, such as balconies. In addition, this must be derived, for example by rain accumulating surface water.

The object of the invention is to provide an improved floor covering made of plate elements, in which a simple and accurate installation and tightness is ensured, with surface water can be derived.

According to the invention, a floor covering of plate elements, wherein the adjacent plate elements are connected to each other with a tongue and groove connection, such that a first plate member has on its longitudinal side a vertically disposed groove in which engage a vertical spring of a second adjacent plate member can, wherein the first plate member below the vertically disposed groove has a free space for a spring of the second plate member having formation, wherein below the clearance and below the vertically disposed groove a shoulder is arranged, on which the formation of the second plate member can be supported. Preferably, according to one embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the first plate element arranged next to and below the groove has a first vertical contact surface which bears against a second vertical contact surface of the second plate element in the connected state of the adjacent plate elements.

It is advantageously provided that at the upper end of the first vertical contact surface, a formation is formed which engages in the connected state of the adjacent plate elements in a recess of the second plate member.

Following is proposed according to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention that the recess of the second plate member is designed to be larger than the shape of the first plate member.

Preferably, the spring is provided with an elastic coating. This is held by an exact fit with the groove or under a slight elastic deformation in the groove.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the two adjacent plate elements form a groove for the flow of surface water in the connected state.

Further advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the other dependent claims or their possible sub-combinations.
