Abstract
Protection claim 1: automatic dimming bike lights (1) with integrated light guide (2) and light sensor (6), whereby oncoming light detected and the luminosity of the lighting (1) by the electronics (3) automatically shut down accordingly "dimmed" is. If no more oncoming light is detected, the electronics (3) regulate the brightness automatically, in the last driven light level. The "dazzling" oncoming vehicles is thus very strongly prevented. This automatic dimming can be deactivated at any time by the user by pressing a button.
Description
Stand der Technik:State of the art:
Current generations of bicycle lights rely more and more on the LED technology.
Such used high-end LEDs have the advantage of a very high luminosity with relatively low energy consumption.
A major disadvantage of these lighting devices, however, is the "glare" of oncoming persons and vehicles.
Technische Aufgabe:Technical task:
-> automatisches Abblenden (Schutzanspruch 1)!After the oncoming light has gone out (the oncoming vehicle has passed by) the light intensity is automatically restored to the previously set light level. -> automatic dimming (protection claim 1)!
Furthermore, the illuminated pushbuttons of the bicycle lamp by a predetermined keystroke combination can also be used as a tail light to protect the cyclist for subsequent traffic, better recognizable and thus better. Useful for helmet installation.
In diesem Modus leuchten die Taster „rot” -> Tasten-Rücklichtfunktion, (Schutzanspruch 3)In this mode, the buttons "red" -> button-backlight function, (protection claim 3)
-> Soundfunktion, (Schutzanspruch 4)To round off the bicycle light, we additionally provide this with a sound module and can therefore also be used as a bell (signal generator). This so-called sound module is used in the electronics of the lamp. integrated. The operator has several, freely selectable tones to choose from. The operation takes place via a button on the control unit. -> sound function, (protection claim 4)
Embodiment of the invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 01 to 06.

This automatic dimming can be deactivated at any time by pressing a certain key. Ie. Signal from an oncoming light is no longer processed. Bicycle light remains in the selected light level.
Manuelles Abblenden (Schutzanspruch 2):Manual dimming (protection claim 2):

Fazit:Conclusion:
In the end, we have a lighting device that allows both deactivatable, automatic and manual dimming. Thus, oncoming vehicles and pedestrians are no longer exposed to a long, strong "glare".
The button-tail light function gives the cyclist additional protection. This multifunctional bicycle lighting is rounded off by the bell function, which makes it possible to attract attention at any time without having to attach additional components to the bicycle.
