Description
Die Erfindung gehört zum Bereich der Trinkwasserversorgung. The invention belongs to the field of drinking water supply.
The aim of the invention is the production of an apparatus for the automatic generation of small amounts of drinking water by means of energy from a solar battery (i.e., it is energetically autonomous). The device is intended for use in areas without drinking water supply.
The solution to this problem is explained in more detail in the description of the invention and the claims.

Die Erfindung
Die Nachteile von Prototyp (
- 3. Fehlende Schätzungen des erforderlichen Vakuumwertes.
- 1. Need to drill to reach the groundwater horizon (depth up to 20 m).
- 2. Need to maintain the vacuum in the borehole when penetrating the soil gases.
- 3. Missing estimates of the required vacuum value.
The present invention provides a method and an apparatus which are free from the above disadvantages.
Soil is a system of components in three aggregate states: solid, liquid and gaseous. The purpose of the invention is to extract only the liquid, ie the aqueous solution from this system. The extraction of groundwater by the use of vacuum should not cause any suction of the gas. Otherwise, the vacuum pump must remain in operation either long term or uninterrupted. For devices with mains power supply, this does not matter. When a solar battery is the source of energy, continuous or continuous operation of the pump is unacceptable.
The present invention describes a method in which only the water is sucked out of wet, gas-containing soils by means of vacuum. This method consists in vacuuming the water through a porous partition wall. For this purpose, a thin porous membrane with permeable capillaries is brought into close contact with the wet soil, which remains moistened during the process of suction. On the opposite side of the partition, a vacuum Δp is generated. The symbol Δp denotes the absolute value of the pressure difference between both sides of the porous partition (membrane, filter).
Δp < 2σ/R.
- a) The porous partition wall is hydrophilic, ie the walls of the capillary channels are completely wetted with water and remain wet during the suction.
- b) The value of Δp is smaller than the value of the pressure difference inside and outside the gas bubbles (in the liquid) whose radius is equal to the radius of the capillaries R, ie the following ratio must be given:
Δp <2σ / R.
In fulfilling these conditions, the porous partition represents an insurmountable obstacle fair to the gas phase Penetrate membrane only in the form of a solution. The gas bubbles can penetrate the membrane only if Δp> 2σ / R.
These data are rough estimates. But they are important for orientation in the manufacture of the corresponding device. The pore size of each porous material usually varies within a certain range of values. Therefore, it is necessary to have a method to set the vacuum limit ΔP for each sample of the porous partition by direct measurement.
