The invention relates to a bottle crate according to the preamble of claim 1.

In a known bottle crate ( DE 10 2005 026 579 B4 ) for receiving bottles are receiving compartments arranged in six rows of five compartments, wherein adjacent rows are offset to each other in a gap. The box is equipped with corner-sided columns and also has other hollow profile columns. The box is designed on a base of 400 × 400 mm and is due to this design a total of 30 bottles that have a diameter of 70 mm, the box could be realized in practice only with 27 bottles.
