Description

The present invention broadly relates to the packaging of food, but more particularly to the packaging of food for presentation in the retail market, to give customers an incentive to buy.

Products as well as food, including sweets, are offered in a wide variety of retail packaging and presentation concepts. The present invention is based on the idea of folding an original flat sheet of material into a three-dimensional object in which the separately packaged foodstuff is accommodated.
