The invention relates to an attachable to a window frame metal window sill with Gleitendstücken. Such metal window sills are usually obtained by cutting profile sheets and can be easily manufactured in any length. In practice, also different installation depths are encountered; this must be met with different widths of windowsill or profile tracks. This external insulation - one also speaks of a thermal insulation composite system or ETICS - is usually not pressure-resistant or significantly less pressure-resistant than the masonry in the core.

The reaching beyond the leading edge of the outer insulation window sill or their Gleitendstücke then find no complete abutment or no more effective stop on the masonry. Pressure forces directed against the soffit in the event of a longitudinal expansion of the window sill can then no longer be dissipated to the masonry or WDVS in a non-destructive manner, but lead to cracking and visible damage in the case of resilient external insulation as a plaster carrier. As a result, water can penetrate and increase the damage even more.

This is where the invention begins. She wants to achieve that even with insulated facades, such as thermal insulation composite facades, the well-known metal window sills with their Gleitendstücken including inserts (so-called. Bordprofile with sealing function) can be widely used.

This object can be achieved in a surprisingly simple manner with the features of claim 1. Expedient developments are specified in the following subclaims.

According to claim 1, the Gleitendstücke to be prevented from destructive movement towards the sensitive outer insulation of a building.
