Vorrichtung zur Trennung von Fett- und Ölemulsionen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein mit einem Rührwerk ausgestatteter zylindrischer Trennbehälter, durch einen Fett- oder Ölabscheider vorbehandeltes Abwasser aus einem Schwallbehälter empfängt und durch das Rührwerk eingesaugte Luft das Abwasser kühlt und oxidiert und es über den Fett- oder Ölabscheider umwälzt. Kalkmilch Verseifungsanlagen machen das Abwasser durch Neutralisation mit Salzsäure zur Salzlauge, die ebenfalls die Abwasserkanäle beschädigt und produzieren Berge von verfettetem Kalkabfall. Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, die bekannten Schwachstellen der beschriebenen Abwasser-Reinigungsverfahren abzustellen. Dabei das Abwasser zur besseren Oxidation mit Luftzuführung abzukühlen, die Fett- und Ölgehalte durch Umwälzung der Abwasserflotte zu homogenisieren und durch stetige Luftsättigung die Emulsion zu spalten, damit Fette und Öle im Fettabscheider eingelagert werden und bleiben wobei der Trennbehälter bei Abwasserzulauf als Trennstufe zur Schwimmstoff Rückhaltung benutzt wird.
