Abstract

The device has a temperature-dependent fluid actuator (24) operated through the fluid pressure prevailing in its work chamber (28). A storage chamber (32) in fluid connection with the work chamber and/or formed directly by same contains a drive medium which increases in volume when heated. The storage chamber is placed at a point in the vehicle where temperature changes occur in dependence on the temperature of the assembly (8) which is heating up. The assembly which changes in temperature can be the radiator and/or vehicle drive motor (8).
